Lemme drop my own story, although I wasn't conscious. My edd was 8th of April,so on the 17th of march I just went about my business as usual,I went to GT bank to sort my BVN wahala,DAT was how they started stressing their aunty to bring dis and DAT,at the end I couldn't do anything ,I just went to my husbands office crying cos I was dead tired.
After work I told him to take me for my antenatal since I couldn't go in the morning. After the necessary checks my doctor had to detain me,my bp was high,I was retaining fluid,and I had protein in my urine.the following day being 18th they checked again and said I have to go for CS immediately cos if I should waste more time waiting I might go into convulsion.
Dh quickly sighed the documents, like play like play they fixed me up,and I was wheeled away,by the time I managed to open my eye small I saw my two oyinbo daddies,then I went back to oblivion till the next day.And that is the end of my story.....

kudos to all wonderful mamas that keeping this thread lively, na this libido issue brought me out. mine before I got pregnant the libido was high so tey I will be the one chasing dh, but since i"ve given birth, my mind no even dey there again, anything dh ask for it, I will just surrender my self out of pity for the man. madam deezou how is ur baby?, jennifer89(my able captain sept 15) u are always in my prayers. all the a-z mamas, I hail u all.

@nazablossom, 85% of the things are ready but unpacked, waiting for friday ANC to get the delivery items. Dh was teasing me some days back saying if baby comes out sooner than I expect and am not packed, how would he survive since the things are not in arranged, not to talk of in the same place. God will help me this weekend, at least no occassion

Thanks Gaily04, I was just wondering, because everyone seems to be against taking cold water. Even hubby has threatened to unplug the fridge, except I promise him that I won't take cold water and I had to promise him.
Even my MIL's nurse who attends to me sometimes, gives me cold water to drink whenever I ask for it, that's when I visit her ooo. She knows I like taking cold water, but she said too much of it is bad.

Christybabe I also take cold water and cold soft drinks.

Una good morning o. Na since 1am my eye open like frog own. I have gone to toilet thrice and am beginning to have cramps with lower back ache, itsquite painful, though no contraction yet. I dont want to be chased up and down hospital like dd so am keeping fingers crossed. I will try pack my hospital bag when i get back from work today. Tomorrow is my anc. Proudly team april for supernatural birth.
Adewunmi84, dont worry she will be fine. If its milo she can tolerate let her take it but in moderation. I am 38weeks gone and i still take my milo, ovaltine and also lipton as the spirit directs. I think thw size of the baby has to do mainly with genes. Also i read baby starts addind weight from 7 months.

I drank cold water from my first month till a day before delivery. as in very cold water. the hot weather alone is enough reason to drink cold water. keep drinking it, nothing dey happen!

I play cartoons for my baby.he/she is just six months in her mummy's womb.I hope he/she can hear it because I love him/her a lot even from the womb.Am a dad to be..And also,my wife always told me she feels the baby moving most of the time.So,I placed my palm on her stomach early in the morning for like two hours.My baby keeps pushing up my hands from her mum's womb.The baby was just having a nice time moving around.I am sure he/she will be longing to see mum and dad and also those cartoons that keeps beat the drums,singing and speaking in the television..lolz..I just love babies...but we will be spacing let's say three years interval.

Keep cleaning with methylated spirit and corron wool 2-3hourly and ensure its nt covered/embedded in d diaper.
Moko brand of methylated spirit is preferable
