forgiveness: I never engaged you on an argument on who is better between Iheanacho and Solanke. My stand point is Solanke is not willing to play for Nigeria. So I dnt even consider him among the players to be called up for the Olympics. I have told you that I was never of the opinion that Imoh Ezekiel should nt be invited to the Olympic team. Go back and check my team line ups I have most times included Imoh Ezekiel. If chrisooblog feels Imoh Ezekiel was average based on the facts he gave, I said let Imoh himself prove him wrong. 1 Like |

forgiveness:Good question if you ask me. The NFF, over to you. I think those of you who are close to the NFF should please draw their ears. We can't continue like this. They have done so well for making moves for Seji Ojo of Liverpool and Tosin Kehinde of Manchester United both of England |

forgiveness: I agree with you 100% but note that we also have players like: Musa Mohammed, Sincere Seth, Shehu Abdullahi and John Lazarus who are all highly talented RBs and are readily available to don the Green and White Jerseys. We will start with these ones and then "attempt" at securing the switch in nationality for those ones you also mentioned. cc: terzurum5 2 Likes |

Icon4s:Well said Sir. The truth of the matter is that, we can't overlook home grown talent just because we have some promising talents abroad. Harmonising the two should be the watch word. The problem I had before was that, little efforts were put in place to convince these foreign Nigerian born players. We may not always invite all of them, but give them that assurance that they will be called up as soon as they give excellent performances in their clubs. If a player is given this assurance, that he wiould be considered by the national team handlers, as far as he has proven beyong reasonable doubt that he is good, most of them will exercise more patience and wait for us. These foreign Nigerian internationals need to show hunger first, but we also need to make them belief that we need them. |

EXCLUSIVE: OSIMHEN SHUNS WOLFSBURG RETURN, HEADS TO NIGERIA 2015 U-17 World Youth championship top scorer Victor Osimhen will return to Nigeria with the Nigeria U-23s instead of going back to his German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg. Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively report that the youngster took permission to come back home and see his family as he has been away from home for a very long time. Osimhen spent 10 weeks with the Nigeria U-17 team in camp and during the tournament proper and after emerging top scorer at the tournament he didn’t have enough rest due to interest from clubs around the world. He settled for Wolfsburg and after weeks of training with the team he returned back to Nigeria on the 10th of March on leave but had to cut short his break to team up with the Nigeria U-23s for their friendly game against Brazil. After the game in which he came on as a second half substitute the 17 year old returned to Nigeria instead of going back to Germany as his vacation extend to November. The 17 year old will resume training with Wolfsburg in November, a month before he turns 18 and sign his professional contract. http://owngoalnigeria.com/2016/03/28/exclusive-osimhen-shuns-wolfsburg-return-heads-to-nigeria/ |

binhozie:Sir if you have been following this argument, you did notice 'two' theories; the homebased players and those who prefer foreign based players for our national team. So all I wanted to say was simply, let those concerned STRIKE a balance. But quality must be our watch word. |

TheGoodJoe: I have told you several times to stop comparing Chelsea fc with Man City. That's an eyesore. Remember, Chelsea left over is now a starter super star in Man City. You get drift. However, since you are not capable of answering my question. I will gladly help you out. Traore is not a striker and they are not of the same age or class. Did you get that? So, pls don't come here and display your ignorance because it shall not be...... |

forgiveness: Do you know Traore has played upfront for Chelsea in some games? Scored in some as a striker. Bertrand Traore will be given his chance to prove he can be a long-term solution to Chelsea’s issues with strikers after he impressed playing for the Under 21s last week in front of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and interim manager Guus Hiddink. Hiddink invited Abramovich down to the training ground specifically for the match against QPR and the Chelsea owner has been a frequent visitor to Cobham in the past two weeks. And though it was another striker Patrick Bamford who grabbed the immediate limelight with two goals, Hiddink was impressed with Traore’s all-round performance and convened a meeting afterwards to insist the 20-year-old Burkina Faso international will have first-team opportunities in the next four months. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3424765/Bertrand-Traore-given-chance-prove-striker-Chelsea-despite-FIFA-probe-Guus-Hiddink-looks-options.html |

forgiveness:please remove that useless onazi. . And I don't think Dominic is ready to play for Nigeria . Even if he wanted to play . He doesn't deserve to start . Must we use partiality and name to start a player . You even start Ezekiel ahead of Moses . Joke of the century . Ezekiel has been so bad for the past 2 season . Putting iwobi a winger in the attacking position ., dropping the likes of iheanacho and etebo on bench . I swear , you will win dummy world cup . You no sabi ball |

If he doesn't deserve to start then who deserves to start ahead of him? If you have said Simon ahead of Moses then i will understand because Ezekiel Imoh is ahead of Simon in terms of experience and skills. How bad can Ezekiel Imoh be when he scored 12 goals last season and was bought by bigger club in Europe? E bi like say you no dey watch match recently, abi you no watch Iwobi played as an attacking midfielder against Barcelona and Egypt kwa? Abi where Iwobi play yesterday? |
