princey83: Thanks for your prompt response. Any idea how much upkeep would cost for the four of them (wife and 3 kids) for a year? Excluding the kids school fees; I can google this up. |
Re: Nigerian Students In Canada: How Do You Survive? by Nobody: 5:26pm On Mar 19, 2016 |
DGuru1:you might want to google it up as cost varies across towns and province. Using the town I live as an example, a 1 bed apartment would cost at least $850/month. I deliberately excluded basement apartment cos of the children. Feeding, bills, upkeep for a family of three would not be less than $500 dollar a month. daycare around ($750-$1000 per child). You don't pay school fees once your child starts school though (above 5yrs old). 1 Like |

Oh okay. Will I encounter any challenge securing a visa that would enable me visit them periodically? That's the plan, while we try out provincial nomination for residence permit. |

Hello Good people, Please is provincial nominee program the only way to get resident permit? My brother is a Canadian citizen. Can I apply for PR without going through PNP? |

You people should help me before I run mad in this country. Nigeria is not working for ordinary man and I thought it will be better to do the needful before I go crazy in this country I have ND in Accounting and 30 yrs and also running a degree with one of the Federal Uni. While am work with an Audit firm but the job is not helping in terms of security/finance and I had a discuss with a friend in Canada who advised that moving to Canada is worthy idea he advice to start by applying for a diploma course and have checked but all the schools I came across are Gbese (Debts) . Guys here my questions. Can you guys please advise on how to start processing with cheap fees and do I have to pay all fees one off or semesters or yearly. Your advice matters a lot to my life time decision. Thanks in advance 2 Likes |
