I still cannot understand what gave this man the courage to enter Nigeria.
It was a big mistake on his part knowing Buhari's toughness.

Why not ask for the biafran government to negotiate your release? Some sort of prisoner's exchange?

Why on earth would you threatened Nigeria?

I hope you are not suggesting that they should start taking Nigerian hostages. I also hope that you are not encouraging them to turn their agitation to arms struggle. Because that is the only way they can do what you want them to do. Please mind what you say.

what is the problem of the black race?
A government that condemned Brussel attack, but failed to condemn Agatu attack, is not only an hypocrite, but big disgrace...

What do you think will happened if the Belgian govt. fails to condemn the Brussel attack, let-to-say condemning that of Agatu??
They won't even try it...

This is the reason why the black race will continue to remain backward...

Even if by some Miracle he gets help from GB , he's going to be in prison / under arrest for making threats , probably tried and convicted, stripped of citizenship which would mean back to square one or British prison ,

I guess one is lesser of two evils

There's a large population of ibos in the UK.

The last thing the UK government wants is for him to return to UK and start staging protests everywhere and inciting other ibos in diaspora against the Nigerian government.

The Brits have enough on their hands already and they are extremely happy and will do almost anything to ensure dilector Kanu remains in a Nigerian prison.

If Kanu isn't careful, he can be stripped of his citizenship. There's little difference between him and other Brits leaving the UK to go and fight in Syria. UK citizens identified to be linked to the Isis/Syria get questioned/arrested on arrival, forced to appear in court and in most cases get a jail term.

He left UK to incite war/stage war against the Nigerian government. In fact, we should start a petition asking the UK government to strip him of his citizenship. Zero tolerance for terrorists in any form and Kanu is a terrorist terrorising the peace of nigeria

My headache is with the yanshpad abi na eyepad or ipod people who are so dense and ridiculous. You want to fight for a man with dual citizenship while you have only 1. If push comes to shove he has another country to call home and they don't.

Britain will never interfere. A treaty has been signed to that effect on criminals.... ibori comes to mind.

So he now realizes he is British? I laugh. He should have written the Biafran government so that they may fall the zoo once and for all, since that has been their life long dream. Even the British government would not battle an eyelash over a huge charge as treason.

As a yoruba man who live in the north. I believe that Nnamdi Kanu is the greatest man in nigeria now the only man who will look in the face of fulanis and their zombies and tell them to go to blazes.

I wish I were an Easterner right noe, if not for them, nigeria will be a feudal Arab jungle 100% where fulanis sh1t in the necks of others. The East keeping fulani at bay since 1967 AD.

Anytime I remember Nnamdi Kanu, I bow to the organizational skills of IPOB who made PRESIDIOT DULLHARY SWEAT THROUGH HIS ANUS AT ALJAZEERA. ABEG WHO DIDN'T SEE THE SWEAT ON THE DULLARD'S FACE WHEN HE WAS AMBUSHED WITH THE BIAFRAN QUESTION? grin

@NgeneUkwenu,

A country is nearly meaningless if people can't find electricity, pipe-borne water, petroleum products, and above all, peace in the country?

Those who plot for continuation of one Nigeria are either hypocrites, or don't know what a normal country is like.

The semi-literate president who people like you supported has turned into a tyrant, basically to protect the interest of his Fulani-controlled north who can't live without One Nigeria. In eight months, he has brought misery to Nigerians, not only incarcerating Nnamdi Kanu for no just cause.

– Nnamdi Kanu insists he is a British citizen who should not be in a Nigerian prison

– The director of Radio Biafra in a letter urged the British government to push for his release

– He says he does not trust the Nigerian government to give him a fair hearing

Nnamdi Kanu, the director of Radio Biafra has sent a letter to the British government to intervene in his case and push for his release.

The director of Radio Biafra was arrested in 2015 by security operatives over alleged solicitation of arms and has been charged with treason alongside Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi who are both pro-Biafra agitators.

Vanguard reports that Kanu who is also the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra approached the British government through his lawyer, Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor.

In the letter dated March 24 and addressed to the British high commissioner in Abuja, Kanu whose passport has also been confiscated said he was a victim of travesty of justice and gross human rights violation.

He urged the foreign government to push President Muhammadu Buhari to release him. Kanu said his prolonged detention in prison was a clear violation of his fundamental right.

The IPOB leader said he has been subjected to immense persecution and although he was ready to face the charges brought upon him, he doubted the Nigerian government’s ability to give him a fair trial.

He said he was wrongly detained and that since he was a British citizen, he should be released.

The continued detention of Kanu has sparked protests in some parts of the country especially in the south east region. IPOB in a recent statement vowed that President Buhari will be sent to jail for his abuse of human rights.

If he renounced his citizenship today, Britain still will not speak for him reason? After the Rwandan madness, a lot of countries are careful not to be tagged as responsible for supporting things like this.

The British government will not come to the aid of a suspect who made threats against a state. It is bad publicity for them to be even seen advising him. They will simply unlook and sip lipton.

Whoever advised this young man did him a great deal of dis-service

London is posh, Tetley's or Twinings please cheesy

This guy made the greatest mistake of his life ,by the time he is released he will be totally useless to himself and family talk less of his so called Biafra. His wife would have moved on,his kids would have gotten married ,he himself will be too old to do anything tangible for himself.
