I have a ccie routing and switching and i have been in a production environment for about 5 years. i manage about 1000 layer 3 switches and about 500 routers.... I am going to suggest something really difficult for you.... Walk into a multi-national, MTN, glo ....etc and tell the IT manager that you have these training and you will work for free.... That will be your first sacrifice in a long list of many. but after 6 months there, if you prove yourself, they will see your importance and you will be a crucial member of the IT team. if you sit at home and dont use these skills, you will lose them.

I did this few years back , nothing nilch Nada.

even via begging on LinkedIn. got one with a so called IT company, I wasn't doing anything IT , more or less a secretary writing reports got tired of that after 3 months(they were not even into core networking they just lied to me) .

as per mtn & glo , I even had a friend that used to work in glo , he help me dropped my CV with one of their network services manager that I wouldn't mind internship position, till today nothing.

I have had several discussions with several people on LinkedIn they all say they will help then they stop returning your messages.

did a short 3 months work for one bank last year, the pay was rubbish but the experience was out of this world .

I have almost given up on networking learning to code .
