Let's face it, the only way you would be in his shoes and wouldn't complain is when you are not as ambitious as he is. Moreover, to be frank with the dude, he was promised the number 1 shirt from the get go, and although his injury didn't help matters at the start of last season, you wouldn't blame him for wanting more. Like he said, 25 matches for a keeper of his standard ain't good enough to give him the necessary improvement he hopes to get overtime. And heck, tell me he isn't right with that.

Its normal for players to be promised things. Virtually every cule knows he the future keeper. Yes he wants to be the number 1 so does every other keeper. Most of these young players aren't loyal. Check out what happened to chelsea, they sold cech simply cos of courtois now he wants out. Pep hasn't officially declared the players he wants, all these is just media BS.

I've watched Alba play time over time and unless I've been having optical illusions all these while, I can say with strut that he has better speed than Matthieu...

When this argument arose yesterday, I sleuthed deeper by using various search engines to compare and contrast Alba and Mathieu in terms of speed and acceleration... From Quora to YouTube chatbox, Alba kept coming up trumps in both category... So I really don't know where you got this idea that Mathieu is faster than Alba... It must be late over there - so goodnight...
