If you were listening....late last year, PMB announced plans for two nuclear power stations that would provide 2400MW of electricity for the national grid.

Hence his attending the summit....where he (according to the news) may present a paper on ''Peaceful uses of nuclear power''.

Additionally, nuclear power is the future.

By going there...he is doing his job...of focusing on power supply. He would also make valuable linkups that might be of benefit.

You Nigerians should stop looking at the ground too much.
Nigeria cannot even manage refinery decades after the discovery of oil. How do u think we will be able to run and manage nuclear power?

Keep doing what you know how to do best.

Nigerians are suffering from your incompetence and you are attending a nuclear summit that Nigeria isn't ripe enough to attend.

Well I blame the Almajiris and the slave men from the sophisticated region. As for me and my 5% brothers, we don't give a Bleep.

Actually...we have several nuclear facilities/installations in the country.

And the X rays in your hospital use nuclear power...as does the CAT scan/MRI.

And we have two agencies that regulate nuclear power...the NAEC and the NNRA.

Also....Niger Republic is planning to build a nuclear power station in the next ten years?

And surely...we can train the people we need....plus we could sign joint venture agreements that would enable us to get funds and training.

We have to start from somewhere.

That's how u know someone who is passionate about leading and work. At his age, he is never tired of travelling to mend broken relationships we have had with nations over the years past. Pmb is consistently putting his adversaries to shame with his vigour and determination. They prophesied his health won't allow him function but now they shout he is too healthy to lead..... Awon oloshi.

Ride on baba, more power to ur elbow. The respect and recognition that ur trips are bringing to Nigeria and Nigerians can not be quantified. People that had destroyed our image are in shame now and their useless supporters are still unrepentantly useless.

Most 3rd world oil dependent Countries like Nigeria right now is facing economic hardship. For example, Venezuela.

Nigeria in particular, has corruption as an established organ in various sectors of the economy and it is naturally, fighting back. Hence, the deplorable situation right now. NO MORE ILLEGAL MONIES ANYWHERE. Even the real investors are being sifted from those that were making abnormal profits at our expense. NIGERIA GO GOOD AGAIN O! After this rain comes the sun. In GEJ's words "NO GOVERNMENT CAN FIX NIGERIA IN FOUR YEARS" Expecially the one when PDP don scatter for 16years. You think say nigeria for fit survive another 4yrs of rape by the PDP?

I'd rather stay in darkness than for radiation to kill all of us. We can't even manage refinery not to talk of nuclear.

Oh lol Nigerians sef tomorrow u will remind us that south Africa and etc countries have 24hrs without knowing that they all use nuclear power plants. Pmb is thinking about the future to have a stable power to go nuclear is the only way. Lets try out new things

I asked the same question zombies won chop me raw.
Instead of buhari to focus on fuel scarcity and poor power supply, he is travelling for thing that don't concern us. undecided

We don't need to call u names like IPOB, the answer to ur question is that this government is putting up nuclear plants to boost our power sector there by need to inform the world of our intention of using nuclear technology for developmental purposes not destruction as in the use for war heads

Look don't speak to me as though I am not informed.
Can you compare the amount of radiation exposure from an x-ray machine to that of a nuclear power plant if something goes wrong?
And this is Nigeria so you are guaranteed that something will go wrong. ...
We are not ready
When we are able to properly manage our refineries than I can say we are ready for nuclear power.

It's not like we have no remedy however pmb should get his priorities straight.
He should focus more time on making sure all our refineries are at 90%capacity. That will curb a lot of our problems. Before we can talk of nuclear power.

I just feel this govt has no scale of preference.
Imagine a vp wife will board a pj waste her time and everyone else's just to donate 5bags of rice! She should have used the money ment for aviation fuel to buy more rice and send to the suffering people. Pure and simple!

So you will support nuclear power in Nigeria at this time? A country that cannot safe guard anything, even oil and gas pipelines are vandalized everyday. How can we secure nuclear plants? Google nuclear disasters, it's not a child's play. Nuclear power is not for third world countries maybe till we upgrade, it is a no no.

At what cost? Pls address the issue I raised about our refineries. Or is it not important that we get our refineries working?
Should we import pms forever? Is that the future?

I will only blame those brought a typical Fulani, Islam man and joint others who are peace loving people. The daft keep travelling all over everywhire while we are groaning over fuel, over light, over everything. It shall never be well with Buhari.
