Okay gotta share this...

Happened in like my JSs 1 ..there was this orange tree at the back of my compound,we hung I think a kinda swing on it's branch and peeps will push you from the back,so it was my turn and all that...they were pushing me,it was nice,suddenly at maximum displacement (physics students) the swing snapped I landed flat on my back,didn't know what else happened everything went blank woke up in the hospital the next day and stayed a further 2weeks or so.

That wasn't my only childhood injury,but it topped the list.

Got injured on my left big foot when i was running for my life due to one political riot(adedibu vs ladoja). i didn't noticed until i got home, lost a lost of blood that night, everything was just hazy and to make the matter worse, infection set in 3days later and doctor said they would cut off my leg. if not for the matron that volunteered to treat the wound in an unorthodox, unsanctioned way, i would have lost the whole leg. dunno what she applied to it but that sting thing is like hell. i don't wish that kind of pain on my worst enemy. had to take abt 15 injections, drips. God bless the woman

Broke my ankle while playing football. Stopped limping after 8 months. That was when I understood what footballers go through when injured.

it was November 25 2005 a Sunday afternoon coming back from church had to cross an xpress road 1,2,3......gboooooossssss i was hit real hard by an okada d two bones in my right leg break.....as dey rush me to the nearest hospital d sernior doctor say dey should save my life quickly and cut off my right leg becos d injury is too much...but tank God my dad is from a family of bone treatment stuff ,I spent up to 5 month in One spot..hmmmm but tank God I am up and running today ....Jesus is great..

Just last week I went to buy condom for my elder brother as I was about to cross the express road Dangote trailer mash me and my head left my body..and as I was laying there and Dangote trailer come and crush me but I thank God that I didn't sustain any injury at all.]

My was an accident dat i hv last year,which almost disfigure my right leg,nw i can't put on anything above my kneel. I jst tank dat i'm alive.

My love for two wheels and speed almost left me one-eyed.
Had a crash on my bike while in a hurry to goan play 'Halo' with my friend, flew off the bike and landed face first in the gutter
My left profile was disfigured beyond recognition and a twisted right knee. My left eyebrow was torn from my face and dangling, part of my left ear and a big chunk from my scalp was missing. I should av worn a helmet.
Learned my lesson the hard way.

mine was in secondary school... had a collision with an opposing player while playing soccer, landed awkwardly and broke my right femur.. spent a month in hospital, then 2 weeks on 2 crutches and another 2 weeks using a single crutch .. the pain was madddddd.. helps me understand what patients are going through sha

We always think our situation is the worst till we see people we are better of which gives us much hope for another chance.

10yrs ago,I was involved in a ghastly accident where I suffered spinal cord injury (paraplegia). I thought it was over till I saw quadraplegia and tetraplegia. Thanks to God for another life.

Hahahahahaha, I'm a girl, use to be a boy when I was growing. One of my uncles that hadn't seen me since I was 9 was telling my kid brother just last year that he was supprise that I had grown into a lady. He knew me to be a boyish girl

okay this hapnd to m[col[/color]or=#006600]e in my js2 days in class, we were having math and they cald d teacher that something had happnd, we all ran to d edge of d door to watch nd i was closest to d door with my bic biro in my mouth wen d man was comin back dis girl blessing just pushed me against d wall nd d biro created a hole inside my mouth just about where u would swallow from, blood was all over my face, nd i culdnt even swallow spit for days

I was playing football (that felele ball that was given to us in 8th all african games in 2003) with my elder bro and sis very close to an abansoned uncompleted building. I was dribbling so sweet not until I ran up a stiff load of sand and jumped down on a wood that carried a 3inch nail. The nail sank straight into my feet

Then I had a little idea of "Jesus being nailed to the cross"

MISSCONGENIALITY:
From the age of 3 till I was 12years, I can't count the number of injuries I had. I mean serious injuries that make people think I would die. I remember falling from a very high water fall at the age of 6 and a stone entering deep into my forehead just very close to my right eye. I climed a lot and we were fun of trying to trace small sreams to know where they were coming. Climb mango and orange trees in primary school and at home. Slimb trees to bring down bird nests. I was always wearing a sling on my arms.
It was so bad that sometimes my grandfather beats me when I come home with injuries cos it doesn't prevent me from playing rough. I remeber then, they tell me to enter the room and sleep, I will pass through the window and go out and my people will think I'm sleeping inside the room just to hear me crying from afar
Thank God I survived my childhood and didn't get deformed in any part of my body.

Mine was a long-time ago when I was using this machine you'd be running on for exercise.. That's how my sister just came and increased the speed to d highest. I was running so fast on it that I fell down and it tore my left leg. I still have the scar till now.

I played for my department and after the 10th minute i had an injury and they scored immediately , i later came in we conceded 3 and lost the competition and the injury lasted for 2months , my friends do help me to the exam hall. It was terrible

Okay, let me share mine..


I remember as a kid, I was playing "catcher-catcher" with my neighbours, I was running so fast, I stepped on a sharp stone, that tore open the middle of foot, and blood gushed out.. with pools of blood everywhere around the compound.
It was so bad, I limped for more than a week, couldn't go to school and they had to hold me down, everyday, to "dry heat" my foot with a hot iron..

Another one was a night in Uni, there was no light, a big broken mirror someone put on the table fell on my leg, just at the base of my big toe.. and made a deep cut... there was so much blood everywhere.. wore sandals for like 2 weeks.. and up till now, I can't flex my big toe properly..

The types of "Wound-Jury" wey I don get no be here oooo.
1.Dislocated Shoulder
2.Stitched 4head
3.Broken Metatarsals
4Fractured Ankle
5.Dislocations
6.Okada Accident
7.Fell down from a One story building and landed on my stomach
But above all I'm alive, well and kicking to tell d stories, no be by my power na "GOD".

Injuries...

At age 6 I fell and hit my head so hard on a concrete floor. The scar is still there

At 9 I broke my right arm twice in a month, the left 2 months later.

At 12, was cleaning my ear with a match stick, it broke in my ear and was there for 3weeks till I finally had it removed

At 16, while trying to lift a glass table, it split in 2 and cut a vain in my thumb. Lost a lot of blood that day, maybe that's y I'm still slim..


And finally at 18 I broke my right leg, couldn't walk for 3 months..

These are the ones I remember tho...

IT took abt a day b4 it could be fix. the pain was unbearable ; felt it was a one tym event- Inna few months ; I was playing football wen I happened again. Got fixed after 3days.

Please what caused the gas explosion? You have instilled fear in me oooo

1. At 13 years old, a heavy metal plate (used to cover a well), fell had on my right hand thumb. My thumb got swollen for almost two weeks and i couldn't anything firmly with the hand. I also lost the nail and got the nail on my right thumb deformed till date

2. When i was 9, i twisted my left ankle while playing local football called "Monkey Post"(If anyone can still remember) in the backyard. The injury was terrible that it required the intervention of a local physician Orthopedic surgeons to put the ankle back to its place. i ended up spending over a month at home/hospital.

3. And finally in 2011/12, i had an in-growing toe nail in my hallux (the big toe) which i battled with for almost a year. At the long run, i had to settle for a minor sugery to remove the nail entire for it to regenerate. The healing process took approximately three month because, the injury got infected during healing process. The mark still remains on the toe as the nail is now ticker than the others and totally deformed.

N.B: Pardon my grammatical blunders, i was not born in England/Ghana. Happy TGIF
