We don't need more police

The ones we have are already:
- badly paid
- insufficiently trained
- ill equipped
- unmotivated to actually solve problems
- bad tempered

Now you want to emply 10,000 more people to tax and beat us at every opportunity? I know you won't pay them adequately or on time, you won't make sure they have equipment or fuel for their patrol, and you won't sanction them for wrongdoing.

I already pay a hefty monthly tax to the police force every month here in Delta State. If it isn't 500 for fuel for SARS, it's 300 for the weekend to police, or 100 to VIO, or 200 to FRSC. Even vigilante want their 50 naira, and if you look at mopol the wrong way, you're frog jumping and dashing them 5k.

It's such an effective tax collection system: if you see police on the road, you will pay. If they visit you at home, you will pay. If you go to their station, you will pay. The only way to not pay police tax is to hide at home and not answer the door. Abeg we have enough police in Nigeria!!!!

You want to increase employment, just dash 10,000 random people money every month and they will spend it to grow the economy. At least they won't use their uniforms to harrass us.

Why recruiting just for the sake unemployment that means buhari and his apc lead govt don't know how to tackle unemployment, but during election campaign they openly promised 1million jobs per year.
Even in my own town their are more than 10000 unemploy youths.

Mr. President, this should not be a good reason for recruiting, especially into sensitive sector like Security.

That is how he will say they'll keep their eyes on the process to ensure transparency! Then at the end of the day, One ADAMU will bring letter that he's from OKIRO and they'll give him the JOB even without any sought of screening! Can DAMBAZAU look at me in the eyes and tell me he or Mr chairman PSC don't have slots allocated to them He don tey wey we dey hear those trash!!! Many people are so shallow in their thoughts,saying only those with passion should have being told to apply and the rest instead of it being an avenue to reduce unemployment. Does applying mean that u've secured the job? Wait till u get to the interview stage, if at all many would make it after the exam, then u would know that without passion, u wouldn't make it beyond the INTERVIEW, and the drilling....... Then the doubting Thomas would know that, without u having something upstairs to contribute as a result of your passion for it regardless of whichever Position u put in for and also Grace, no way to be considered for employment except God father factors in.
