This summit had nothing to do with Africans. What was Buhari's business there? This is seriously embarrassing. Details and picture: http://www.naijiant.com/articles/buhari-ali-bongo-african-rulers-nuclear-summit/ |

Do we even know the first and last thing about Nuclear energy? The gas, water, solar, wind and coal that we have abundantly in our country we can't manage it to give us steady energy, it is nuclear that Buhari is going to attend a summit on. What exactly is he even going to present if they give him mic when everyone in that hall probably have heard that at a point yesterday we produced 0MW. While he is speaking others will just be wondering wetin this one dey yarn sef. Na this kind summit him suppose just send minister of science and tech and FA minister to go attend. 2 Likes |

Others are busy with serious governance issues that affect their citizens directly in their respective countries and fashioning out solutions for them. This Buhari just sees opportunity to go round the world and see all countries before he dies. |

Wailers are wailing Nigeria was invited because the theme is about preventing terrorists from nuclear technology and Nigeria is hoping to develop and utilise nuclear energy. Also Buhari uses these summits to engage other countries that may invest in Nigeria. |

Buhari understands that Nigeria has an image problem which is why he is personal engaging other heads of state to gain their confidence in order to attract foreign investment from bilateral meetings on the sidelines. However I personally do not trust these Western nations and if I was his advisor I would suggest we stay clear of them as they have shown themselves to be an enemy of Africa. asuustrike2009: |

asuustrike2009:Exactly. Our nuclear capacity is close to zero. This is the least of our problems. There are more pressing issues. His presence was not necessary there unless you are someone interested in gallivanting. |
