It doesn't matter how long we run from the obvious truth, we must answer the call of truth one day and that day is fast approaching. The current Nigeria stricture is fraudulent and doesn't possess any thread of progress or prosperity for its people. The Bishop is absolutely spot on. It's something we all believe deeply within us. Nigeria MUST restructure or risk separation. It's a question of time. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

godoluwa:Any splitting of Nigeria today will only lead to further in-fighting and splitting. A proper federalism is the answer, not splitting especially when Igbos already have investments all over Nigeria. Everyday it becomes more and more obvious that the loudest voices calling for splitting are either spoon fed students or struggling adults who don't give a damn about others who are already established. I can't point out any African society that got better after balkanisation. And by the way, what's this frequent talk about SS and SE oil?... The last time I checked, it was purely SS oil feeding the entire nation cos the oil produced in the SE is as insignificant as the oil produced in the SW. 7 Likes |

When a Bishop has this much venom in his heart against other Nigeria tribes, how doesvhebrelatevwith non-Igbo supposedly under his watch? Will he ever serve the church outside Igbo land with this hatred spirit? What a Priest!!!!! And these are same people with Bishop Oko who couldn't see anything wrong with Jonathan's tragic administration. 4 Likes |

kolaaderin:You may be right about a particular set of people being greedy, but sit back and reread ur statement, don't you think it's borne out of parasitic tendencies and selfishness? Before you go, look up the meaning of "greed" in ur dictionary just to be sure. The sharing formula isn't favorable to all, plus there are no equal opportunities for citizens thus causing development to lag perennially. Calls for fiscal federalism are drowned out. Then someone calls for self-determination, how is that supposed to fill supposedly normal humans with anger, bitterness, venom and vitriol to the extent of attempting genocide? Just look at these logically. 5 Likes 1 Share |

NgwaManNaija4LF: I think she means executive presidents.....Shagari was the first Executive President of Nigeria. Most of our military leaders went by the title Head of State (except IBB who called himself President). Azikiwe was a ceremonial president from 1963-66..and from 1960-63...Governor General. |

For me breaking away from Nigeria is not the issue right, but educating our people and doing what is right to make that region great. We can rebuild the region without federal government.Lagos today is build by Igbos and yet people are crying government. All the swamps in lagos bought by igbos in the name of lekki, aja,Amuodofi etc.Charity begins at home, lets educate our people.Onitsha market was called before the biggest market in west African, what happened today. Igbos we want to eat our cake and have it. Time to rethink, all we care about is money. So we should stop crying foul, when Late Ikemba ask Nnewi people to bring back there Industries back home. They did and today go to Nnewi and you will understand that we don't need a prophet to tell us. Igbos start to think about home, and not i own a house in lekki, aja, wuse, etc.Own a house in Enugu, Anambra,Abia, Imo, Ebonyi and even Delta.Let join hand and build the region. 3 Likes |

Quakertellicus1: So you see, a peaceful break up is possible. As an Igbo man, do you think that I'm going to fight to be in 'one Nigeria' with the Yoruba or Hausa man? Of course not! So the question is, where will the so called war come from? 1 Like |

Jombojombo: I agree with every thing you said until you mentioned GEJ. GEJ is not president today because he was thoroughly incompetent. The level of corruption during his tenure should have been logged in the Guiness book of record. Being president is not a right. It is a function of potential and performance. |

Knowledge9000: I thought am the only Igbo that's knows this fact. people don't know is because of the excess oil and gas deposit in Igbo land that makes northerners remain in one Nigeria.even SS people think igbos need their oil ha ha ha ha ignorance is bliss. |
