A pelvic scan will be in order. It rules out a lot of options. It cud be a dysfunctional uterine bleeding or due to fibroids. Go for the scan. All the best. triangullar: |

Cervical mucus isn't the only method to detect ovulation. If u know ur body well, u wud knw whn u are ovulating. U cud go for follicular tracking, do a progesterone test on cd 21 to know if u did ovulate. Infertility in men is best diagonsed by a urologist. Never say never. Believe in God. All things are possible thru Him. All the best. rOsy247: |

mubzay: I know discharge is not the only sign of ovulation. What I want to know is if discharge is a MUST whenever one is ovulating. |

Ur baby's weight is 2.5kg at 33 weeks. It is within normal range. High pposterior placenta means it is not covering or close to ur cervix where the baby passes during child birth . So the pOsition is okay. In order words everytin is perfect. Noting to worry about. Hapi bumping cutienik: |

sexybrown004: Whenever you have a pregnancy test done, it always turns out positive? You can go to a hospital or diagnostic laboratory to carry out a Serum Preg Test. If positive, then you are most likely pregnant or have been pregnant up until the previous 2-3 weeks. |
Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by NaMe4: 9:37am On Apr 17, 2016 |
nwaduto: It's normal to see spotting a few days after such events (complete miscarriage). There is no cause for alarm as long as there are no associated symptoms. You may want to see your doctor if the spotting persists for over two weeks or the bleeding increases or you notice any form of abnormal discharge, fever or lower abdominal pains. |
Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by NaMe4: 9:54am On Apr 17, 2016 |
Jaywon242: I'm pretty sure that was urine culture not blood culture. 11 weeks seems like a good time to start antenatal visits (as per Naija). An evaluation of the pregnancy at booking will most likely bring about the best management plan for her and the baby. Hope she is much better. All the best. |

good morning doctors, I have been ttc for 3 years now. I have a regular period but whenever i pressed my breast milk comes out. though, i have been pregnant twice. i did test on prolactin and my doc told me that its normal on the high side. ( don't understand what that means) though he placed me on bromocriptine. tomorrow being 18 am to go for hsg test he gave me misoprostol to take. my question now is what is the success rate because most of the people i asked did not mention misoprostol. |
