Good day Honourable. Given the information within my reach, I think Unilorin has a change of course form she sells to applicants when her Jamb cut off mark is released. Unless of course, the said school has abruptly changed her Modus operandi. Consequent to this, it is therefore advisable that whoever intends to sit for her post ume, should exercise patience and shy away from the JAMB's change of course form to avoid paying twice (If unfortunately, the changed course cut off falls far below or higher than the candidate's projected choice course). The forgoing, however, is Subject to the proviso, "Given the information within my reach." Thanks.

[b]Thanks every one for ur concern. I deeply appreciate.
Ilorin just happens to be a choice I can't easily set aside except otherwise, I must have exhausted every of my chances of getting in. I so much love the school that I've been fighting it hard to gain her admission since last 3years. When I started it in yr '13, I hoped it's going to be a smooth ride journey - I merited the adm but somehow I didn't get in. Not to waste my tym, I went for my poly adm. While I was in the poly, I sat for the subsequent jambs where the yr14's happened to be a success. I gained the adm and we were told to come for 'clearance' but just then my final poly exams remained 2 sittings and to leave this for Ilorin will amount to 'extra year' in poly, so I waited until after the exams which took place in the space of 1wk. So after the online clearance (uploading of requested docs) and I was cleared. Not long after I assumed sch, I checked into my portal and lo and behold! My course had been changed to 'linguistic'. I couldn't hold on with this, I phoned home and 'they' questioned my 'staying' after all. I came back home to later on regret my 'decision' of not moving on with the given course.

My poly colleagues resumed for their HND this year but I stand my ground on my not willing to go for it. And this is what informed my decision for applying again for uni adm and specifically unilorin.
And it's just unfortunate that jamb did what they 'believed' in this year that is now making it difficult to have and trade our deserving 'values' for what it actually 'worth'.

I still have that penchant for law but I want Ilorin more. I will wait until this coming week ends perhaps Ilorin will release her cut off marks within...then by the following Monday I'll take a decision. UI is just an overruled option unless I see a vision preaching contrary; It definitely going to be of Ilorin and Ife.

[b]Thanks guys for the candid advice.
However, I am considering changing for Ife rather than UI. What informs this opinion is the fact that I consider UI to be 'discriminating' in terms of the processes involved in its screening exercise. It's a general knowledge that if one doesn't possess relatively 5 of the top O'level grades that's 'As', 'Bs', the chance of getting in is as good as 'none' (except otherwise, the pattern of admission has now taken in new dimension). So since 'such' is lesser or has outright left into extinction in Ife, I think it should be the best solace. Though each with its fault, I learnt Ife also relies heavily on its post-ume, meaning that if you have less score on ur putme as against the score slated for your desired course, chances are that you're either not given anything or you are given of the 'lesser' courses. (this claim still subject to verification though.) A friend of mine who's currently in Ife told me that I would've to perform extraordinarily in the putme to be given my desired course - Law! What this translate to me when I did the calculation is that I would have to get 300-350 out of 400points over all in putme before I could merit the course as the score would complement my 'poor' jamb score.

And to me this seems an herculean task. Abi what do you guys think? Please help a brother.

Bfor u choose OAU, u should research well. Der 14/15 session just finished 2nd semester of "100 level".

The 15/16 session has not started atall.. not to talk of 16/17 session. If u change to OAU.. den u'll become a fresher mid next year nd dats if u conquer der post utme!

It's ur choice but do ur research

Even if #1=$1... Unilorin can "never" release their cut off this early... it's either dey release it in Late June(if post utme is in July) or dey release it in July if post utme is in August.
