I like your list. It seems most of us are on the same page on most of the players. More than 5 seasoned analysts here cannot all go wrong.
Siasia's chief media officer take note.

But bros why you no wan hear abt Amuzie? Though he is nt my first choice LB (Madu is) bt dnt you feel we need a back up left Back? As you'll observe the team is nt much gifted with left footed midfielders hu can be converted to LB if the first choice LB is out on suspension or Injury.

You guys should take it easy with names, so because Awaziem plays for porto he deserves a place in the squad? How about him been invited first, let see him slug it out with his contemporaries. Let's see if he can fit into the playing pattern of the coach... Club football is not the same as national team football, odion ighalo and nickolas bendtner taught me that while one was prolific in the club and less goal ratio in the mins he has played for country while the other one was prolific in the national team but wasteful in the club.... I have watched Awaziem played for Porto and he's just like an ordinary defender to me, I'm sure new names will also be generated today.... No one has mentioned Akinjide Idowuu

I will like to talk about why I feel there is something big in Kelechi Nwakali.

First, I trust and believe in the choice of Coach Amunike. He is a man who was trained in the famous La Masia Academy as a coach and he saw a lot of brilliant talents in his days there.

Coach Amunike chose Kelechi Nwakali as the leader of his U17 winning team. Kelechi Nwakali also trained with Iheanacho's U17 team at a very young age. It showed the coaches already knew they had a special talent in their hands.

The boy did not only have a good tournament. He came out as the best player of the competition. That showed that the U17 Coaches led by Coach Manu Garba were right when they believed they had a star in their hands.

He is now with Arsenal, a ground where a lot of technical training and sound development takes place. I have no shred of doubt that another fine gem will emerge from Arsenal after the training and development of Kelechi Nwakali.

So far, Kelechi Nwakali proved those who believed in his talent right and I do not see him disappointing the coaching crew at Arsenal.

Bros I am one of those who kicked against his inclusion in the Super Eagles squad to face Egypt.

But as for this U23, he and Kenneth Omeruo seems to be our best options. I will only exclude Awaziem if Leon Balogun is called up.

As for Akinjide Idowu, going by the abundance of quality DMF we have now he doesn't stand much chance.

I do not think it is about rating. It is the opposite. Pellegrini does not want him to shine to much. Maybe he does not want the success to get into Iheanacho's head or he does not want Iheanacho making his stars look weak.

As long as the boy is working hard in training, no beef.
Am not happy with Pellegrini, I can't agree with him as far as Nacho's abilities are concerned

After painstackinly selecting the Defenders and midfielders. I will now proceed to selecting the attackers

1) Isaac Success; This is the second season of the Granada star in the Spanish laliga and he has not disappointed with 5 goals and 1 assist this season.
Success will be joining Watford FC for the start of the 2016/17 season. He can play anywhere across the front line. He is 20 years old.

2) Kelechi Iheanacho; This is his first season in professional club football. However, he proved his worth when giving the chance to play. He has 9 goals and some assist to his credit. Plays as a RW, Second striker and Striker. He is 19 years old.
Why attach so much literature to your Solanke? You did same thing to . gringrin Ajagun.
But of a truth Ajagun deserves a chance. I don't just know why that guy is so unlucky with our national team Coaches. Ajagun is not as poor as we make him look like.

3) Moses Simon; He was a revelation last season with Genk who he helped to win the league for the first time in their history. These season he has garnered more experience by playing and scoring in the Champions League. No doubt, he deserves to make the list. Primarily plays as a left winger, and can as well play as a Striker or second striker. He will be 21 years of age this year.

4) Ezekiel Imoh; Ezekiel Imoh wealth of experience can't be dismissed. Having scored 47 goals in the last 4 seasons in one of the Top 10 European leagues in the world and even went to score in the Europa League this season. He can play as a Striker, Rw and second striker. He is 22 years of age

5) Dominic Solanke; He came to limelight last season with the Chelsea youth team when he helped them to win the FA Youth Cup and UEFA youth league. He even became the top scorer of the UEFA youth league tournament with 12 goals, and because of these, Chelsea rewarded him by promoting him to the first team at the age of 17 and later featured him in last year UEFA Champions League last season making him the youngest debutant for Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League. In his first season in the Eredivisie, he scored 7 goals even though he was out due to injury for 3 month.
Although Solanke prefers playing as a striker, he can also play as a winger on either side and as an attacking midfielder. He is only, 18 years old.

Final list

Goalkeepers
Emmanuel Daniel
Dele Alampasu

Defenders
Leon Balogun
Kenneth Omerue
Moses Odubanjo
William Troost-Ekong (Ndidi or Awaziem)

IMOH EZEKIEL INJURED ON INTERNATIONAL DUTY WITH NIGERIA U-23s

Imoh Ezekiel’s season has come to an end after the Nigerian broke his jaw in Nigeria U-23 0-1 win over Brazil in a friendly game just over a week ago.

Ezekiel had surgery on the broken jaw on Wednesday and is reportedly set to miss the league title playoffs in Belgium for his loan side Anderlecht.

The injury setback is the latest disappointment the 22 year old has suffered since joining Anderlecht on loan from Al-Arabi of Qatar at the start of the season.

So far he has just one goal in the league from the 18 games he has played for them his worst tally in a full season since he moved to Europe in 2012.

His next destination will be decided by his Qatari side Al-Arabi who have kept him on loan the last 18 months after he failed to settle in Qatar six months after moving to the oil rich nation from Standard Liege of Belgium.

He reportedly turned down a move to a Chinese Super League side before the close of the transfer window in China.

Nigeria U23s Coach Siasia Monitoring Sporting Kansas Starlet Nansel Selbol

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Sporting Kansas City rising star Nansel Selbol is on the radar of the Nigeria U23 coach.

The substantive coach of the Dream Team VI, Samson Siasia, had wanted to invite the 18-year-old for the international friendly against Brazil last month but later jettisoned the idea as he had already drawn up his list of players.

But Siasia has not locked up Selbol’s case in the drawer and plans to run the rule over the talented striker at a training camp prior to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

The offensive all-rounder trained with the Golden Eaglets prior to the 2013 Fifa Under 17 World Cup but narrowly failed to make the 21-player roster for the tournament in United Arab Emirates.

Selbol netted his first professional goal for Swope Park Rangers in their 2-1 win over Tulsa Roughnecks FC this past weekend.

My faith lies in the fact that Nacho does not need 90Minutes like some players to make a difference and the next Coach that handles the team will give him more game time. I believe Guardiola is not ignorant of Nacho's abilities. If he made Messi out of Barca, then he can make a Nacho out of Man City

Heerenveen defender commits to Nigeria

Kenneth Otigba

Kenneth Otigba has pledged his international allegiance to Nigeria, although the Heerenveen defender has not received a call-up to the Super Eagles squad.

Otigba feels his ability in defence will improve Simon Siasia's options as the interim boss struggles to find consistency amongst his back-four.

"If I get invited to the Super Eagles I will do my best to help the team. I am strong, fast and a good marker. I would help the team to have an organized defence," the 23-year old told allnigeriasoccer.

The towering defender represented Hungary from U15 level all the way to the U21 side and served as captain during his time with the U17 team. However, he's reiterated his desire to play for his country of birth after rejecting a call-up by former Hungary boss Pál Dárdai for a Euro 2016 qualifier last year.

Otigba has featured regularly for De Superfriezen since arriving at the club from Hungarian outfit Békéscsaba in 2012, scoring eight goals in 91 appearances.

False. Ramon Azeez is languishing in the third tier of Spanish football.

Omeruo is also playing for one obscure league in Turkey. From Eredivisie to Championship, from Championship to Turkey. Decipher grin

Onazi has been relegated to the bench this season.

Uche Nwofor. Nowhere to be found.

Kingsley Madu ; plays in an obscure league in Europe.

Shehu Abdullahi; so so

Wilfred Ndidi; lost for years before he found his footing this season after Ajagun don win trophy for Europe.

Ahmed Musa don rise even before he left the shores of Nigeria.

Moses Simon grin

Etebor Ogehnekaro : clubless

See your rising stars falling. grin

Your definition of "rising faster" is based on selection into the national team which is only based on sentiments. Fact!

It is therefore null and void to be used as one of the criteria because merit had been sacrificed on the altar of Nepotism. Fact!

You claimed, Ajagun had been stagnant and those you listed had risen faster than him. False! You are just trying to give a dog a bad name just to slaughter it but he no go work for where me i dey.

I will list the names of some the players you listed and analysis them one by one based on only club performance because national duty is never based on merit. Maybe that is what those coaches are doing to....

Kenneth Omeruo, Ramon Azeez, Ogenyi-onazi, Simon Moses, Uche Nwofor, Kingsley Madu, Shehu Abdullahi, Etebor Ogehnekaro, Wilfred Ndidi

Now emphasis on the words "rising faster"

Where was Wilfred Ndidi in 2013/2014 season when Abdul Ajagun had already played and won the Greek Cup for UEFA Champions finalists?

Where is Uche Nwofor playing and what has he won at his club? As a striker, how many goals has he scored in all the clubs he played for?

Where was Kingsley Madu in 2013/2015 when Abdul Ajagun had already won club laurel in 2013/2014 season?

Which club did Shehu Abdullahi play for in 2013/2014 season when Abdul don already become Champion?

You mean Etebor Ogehnekaro who could not even help his club in the NPFL win chi chi, and is recently clubless, is rising faster than a player on the book of former UEFA Champions league finalists?

Do you think the world rates Ramon Azeez's Almeria higher than UEFA Champions League finalist Panathinaikos-fc?

Abdul Ajagun has already rising ahead of Moses Simon in 2013/2014 season. Na lie?

Let us leave the rest on the list.

Answer these question.

Please, Next time show us technical facts before you deceive people here.

I learn Guardiola doesn't like Africa player, Yaya as a case study. I pray and hope he will double sight and see the quality in Nacho cos the other side will be a disaster to his career

terzurum5:

My faith lies in the fact that Nacho does not need 90Minutes like some players to make a difference and the next Coach that handles the team will give him more game time. I believe Guardiola is not ignorant of Nacho's abilities. If he made Messi out of Barca, then he can make a Nacho out of Man City

Abeg Egbon Sir , please collect high five for this. Your statement is right on the money. Well said.

As for Sir Solanke Forgiveness Ajagun, grin his list is not bad but I told him I had some reservations which I already knew others will come and point out. Pesin like me no wan talk too much on the matter because I have my personal fears for the final 18 though I believe it will at least be better than his Afcon U-23 Squad to Senegal.

I also have my lists, two to be precise. One is a final 18 without Overaged players (akin to 99.8% of Sir Chrisooblog's). The second is a final 18 with two or three overaged.

Siasia wants to redeem himself in the eyes of Nigerians again. This is the only big reason I feel he'll take the very best to Rio though not all will make the final 18 but I expect most of our best to make it.

But my personal subtle fears remain........

Hope you had a great day Sir.
