WHAT ARE THE 20 THINGS WE NEED TO KNOW
AND/OR DO AS GRADUATES or BEFORE SERVICE
ELAPSES TO YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND
ADVICE

1.prepare your mind: now undergraduate days are over. no more pocket money from parents, uncles etc. labour market is like war. prepare ur mind on what next job or business.

2. think: put together your ideas, think abt what pays you most, nobody will think for you.

3. attend seminars: no knowledge is waste. attend the seminars u could attend. business, marriage etc

4.take a step: yes, u are the best student graduating student that year,u graduates with first class,u are very creative. all these will not bring job to ur door step, if u did not take a step. let them see the readiness in you

5. do not keep mute: some graduate could be so silent. thinking people that sees them shld knw they are looking for job. my brother u did not write it on ur forehead. dnt forget even the bible says"ask and it shall be given". keeping mute will do u no good.

6. don't form: this is particular to the females, its almost the same as the one above. dnt behave as if u av it all wen u actually did not have anything.

7. dnt reject little for non: he that doesn't accept little my loose the opportunity for the biggest. a frnd of mine who was a security guard is now a bank manager of the same bank and that was cos he accepted little and bigger opportunity come his way.

8. do anything that makes you happy

9. do not be too envious. your frnds are doing exploits. yes u could get jeolous in a gud way there is nothing wrong in that. dnt hate them cos of their success, continue praying and your testimonies will come.

10. stop getting worried unnecessarily: break your worries, this life doesn't worth it. dnt take solace in tears,it will only lead to depression. instead, keep saying all is well

11. have a frnd: you cannot do it alone,no one can. dnt just keep frnds keep the ones who can help draw u up when you are down. we all need somebody to lean on.... if u want to be successful in life, do not keep frnds who think success is impossible.

12. God first: dnt wait till u are confuse before asking God for direction. make God the first in everythin you do.

am sorry its short and not up to twenty

D only state I can talk about is lagos state where I live permanently for couple of years n I believe justice have been done to dat n osun state being my state of origin have been discussed about, but let me say little about lagos. Lagos as d name implies centre of excellence is so full of opportunities for all dose dat are willing n ready to work, is full of recreational centre as well, transportation is on d high side in lagos, accommodation also expensive especially in areas u have higher institution. But if u are end up posted to lagos, I bet u 70% of corpers will not want to leave lag. But for we in lagos I don't even want to serve in lagos. Pls need infor about plateau state

The geopolitical entity known as AKWA IBOM was created out of Cross Rivers state on September 23rd,1987 by the then administration of General Ibrahim Babangida. The name 'AKWA IBOM' means MOST HIGH,thus making it a state named after God Almighty. It's located in southern Nigeria. The state is bordered on the east by Cross Rivers state,on the west by Abia state,on the north by Rivers state and on the south by the Atlantic ocean. With 31 local government areas and Uyo as the state capital, the people of the state are generally known around the world for their care, hospitality, warm, friendly and accommodating (that's why many pcm see it as a dream state of posting and many refuse to go back after service). 'THE LAND OF PROMISE',which has been upgraded to 'THE LAND OF UNCOMMON TRANSFORMATION' through the hard work of Sen Godswil Akpabio is made up of Ibibio,Annang,Eket,Obolo and Oron ethnic group, with their languages and unique culture. A great majority of the people profess christianity, leaving a very small minority as worshipers of African traditional religion. The traditional occupation of the people couple with it's oil producing status include farming, trading, raffia work and blacksmithing etc. Na abeg i don tire to type sef.
The major cities are Uyo,Ikot Ekpene,Eket,Etinan,Ikot Abasi,Oron and Abak. Mind you cost living including services to 'ntok iban' is a bit high in this towns. The state is still predominantly rural in character, but you will enjoy life to the fullest as the rate of crime is very very low.
Transportation are not really cheap, except in the rural areas.
Electricity supply in the state generally is very encouraging both at rural and urban areas.
Akwa Ibom food ranks among the best in the world such as edikang ikong, afia efere ebot, ukwoho afang, ekpang nkukwo, palm wine with dog meat etc. The list of salivating dishes here can be long. I'm beginning to feel hungry but before i go to grap my plate of ekpang nkukwo, let me write about tourism in akwa ibom.

Tourism attraction centres are found in all nooks and crannies of my state. If it's not Mary Slassor's grave,Lord Lugard's house at Ikot Abasi,Ibeno beach,Le Meridian 5 star hotel at uyo,Sheraton 3 star at Ikot Ekpene,Uyo plaza or Ibom Tropicana at uyo,it can equally be the palm wine and dog meat joints commonly found in rural area.
Lastly to those who like flirting or flexing, please don't go for married people to avoid 'EKPO NKA OWO'.(Don't ask me the meaning of ekpo nka owo unless you're ready to share 30% of your state alawee with me)

DATE FOR COMMENCEMENT OF 2016 BATCH ‘A’ ORIENTATION COURSE REMAINS 27TH APRIL, 2016!!!

Prospective Corps members and other valued stakeholders are hereby requested to disregard the rumours on purported shift in the date for commencement of the 2016 Batch ‘A’ Orientation course to May.

The rumour is frivolous and unfounded. Management remains focused as preparations continue for a successful Orientation course scheduled to commence on April 27, 2016.

NO REDUCTION IN CORPS MEMBERS’ ALLOWANCE!!

The attention of the NYSC Management has been drawn to a statement being circulated in the Social Media about a purported reduction in Corps members' allowance by 25%.

Management wishes to inform Corps members and other members of the public that the statement is false, mischievous and a figment of the writer’s imagination.

Corps members, in particular, are hereby enjoined to disregard the rumour and remain focused as they continue the service to their fatherland.

I know We all belong to a Faith.
If we stop the complaining and worry for another change in dates and stuff, and just believe, the Universe(God) can cause it to come through, whether FG signs the budget or not. NYSC has several other viable options.
Believe carries a strong vibrational energy, but so does worry and anxiety and fear. So I'm creating this awareness so we can create together and raise a strong positive energy for possibilities.
27th April can stand, can even be brought forward if we can will strongly for it to be through our faiths.
And for anyone who might feel bringing in faith is being sentimental, well...
Cheers!
