Pls, pls and pls, I need help regarding German tourist visa.
First of all, my brother is doing his phd in Germany, and my parents wants to travel for his wedding in October.
I know it's Schengen visa.
Now, will they apply as visiting family and relatives or normal tourist visa.
My brother isn't a citizen but a student, and a part time job. And his girlfriend is from Hungary.

Secondly, this booking ticket thingy, I saw it in the list of supporting documents.
Is it compulsory and if it is, Do airlines allow you to book ticket first and pay later?

What if they don't eventually give you visa?
Same goes for the travel insurance. Is that done before or after application?

Lastly, can I be a sponsor? As in sponsor their trip like I did for UK embassy? Is a sponsor and a guarantor the same thing?

bro, that's why i said you should read through his thread. All answers to any questions you'll ever have as touching application has been answered in the past. Just pay the sacrifice to read through. If you continue asking questions like these, you may not find someone who will answer you again ooo. Whether you'll need IELTS or not depends on the requirements of the uni you wanna apply to.

Depends on school, you have to read the language requirements of the school you intend to study. Some accept letter of English Proficiency from the University you graduated from, while some mandate English Test.

You are right. Finding out the type of visa is the first step.
I did send a mail oh, before I even posted this, but they replied that they can't reply as they have a lot of mails and i should check their website.
I will try and make enquiries.

Yea you are right, and it may also depend on the number of places available for the particular course, so it seems the admission process and timing varies not just from school to school but from department to department in same school

First, it will take Uni-assist 4-6 weeks to evaluate your transcript/CGPA. B4 they forward ur document to d applied school. Don't panic about d deadline. You can e-mail uni-assist I'm sure you will get d same reply
