No mind me, I just wan find small trouble. Na @Justwise be Boss o! But the truth is, we all spend time here to help each other, not because we know too much or we work with the consulate. Our advice are from different experiences we, friends, families have had with embassies/consulates and through researches.

It is just my own opinion that in her own case, a family application is advantageous. But of course it's not a standard rule. @LadyG was granted when her Hubby was busy making money for her to tour the world In my first application, the visa officer frowned at why I was going for a vacation without my wife and that was a clue for me which later worked.

Please, you guys should learn how to be civil when advising or correcting peoples opinion... Sometimes tearing people down just because you think their opinion does not match isn't fair. Joking and laughing at it after-all isn't any way fair too.

i have two salary accounts from both companies. my monthly income from both is about 500k.

which of the company's salary account should i use please? which of the company's salary account may positively influence my applications?

put simply, will they respect my application if io let them know that i import cars from their country? i have my bill of laden and account statement to show for it.

Look on top of the ds 160 for that page 1. Ul see that it says 'Name as n your passport'.

Where is says other names answered u can then fill all the maiden/other / old names

1st: somebody/some people have told u that the us embassy RARELY ask for statements.

2nd: that being said if you have 2 companies and make income from both, what stops u from stating both businesses? You are needed to state everything you do all cos all that paints a complete picture of who you are.

Is car importation illegal? If its not then serzly why re u bugged out. Relax and fill your form properly

They Always organise an harvest thanksgiving service every year in the church and he invites people from all over the world. So he suggested he gives me an invititation letter which copies will be sent to the embassy too or should
I just apply for visiting with my daughter
My husband is sponsoring us and I have a good job too.

Besides your travel history, Now i think you look good to go.
*You sincerely wont need the invite.
*Without the invite you can state your purpose of travel to the VO as you analysed it above.
*Let the VO know you are travelling with hubby and baby and if they ask about him, brandish his visa IMMEDIATELY. (That'll seals it)

*Applying after the wedding is better
*you didn't state nada about his travel history, job/earning
*Note: Honeymooning after wedding is a no no... you could only claim such if he was applying before the wedding.

nobody can tell you your chances abeg there is no Entry Clearance Officer here. Different applications different interviewers and different perspectives please

Have u ever been to stanbic head office? Its like that. Cubicles with bullet proof glasses and a hole for u to pass your stuff thru. Imagine its like a banking hall and everybody can see and hear u.u stand in front of the vo like the teller at the bank.

On the day of your interview, it is best you arrive early so you can relax before your interview. Do not be surprised if you then have to wait beyond your scheduled appointment time. Be careful of the possibility of crime around the US consulate in Lagos. Your mobile phone, laptop and bags won't be allowed in, so it is best you leave them at home if you're not driving.

Watch out for those touts who hang around the consulate, they will convince you that it is a US visa requirement that you must go in with a coloured photocopy of your passport data page and any visa you have in your passport. Tell them this is not your first time and match straight to the line. Don't fall victim because those people charge N3,000 and above for coloured photocopy.

The US consulate/embassy conduct interviews through bulletproof glass windows that make you feel as if you are in a bank communicating with a bank teller or a prison talking to your relative as a prisoner. While you're standing, the officer will probably be sipping hot coffee while he or she is reviewing your application on the computer. Be well prepared, because he or she may suddenly ask you just one question that would throw you off balance. If you have filled your application truthfully, this should not be a problem. However, if you can’t remember something, it is much better to say so than to lie or dilly-dally.

You also have to be lucid and confident. Bear in mind that during your interview, every other applicants waiting in the interview hall will hear your conversation with the officer and some will even pick clues during this session.
