Jadekitana:
Hi guys, goodmorning all. Seems i'm late! I want to further my education next year in Canada, ontario precisely. I'd be going for a Pgd in business administration, I was told I have to start the process latest by September this year, because i'm looking at February/march 2017. I also read where they said students are allowed to work inside the campus for 6months before allowed to work outside. I have some questions:
1) are Pgd students allowed to work as well
2) what's the total package for everything, which includes tuition, accommodation, ticket and visa, feeding
3) which university in ontario is very affordable, not the very expensive ones since i'm doing Pgd before thinking of doing masters.

I'd be glad if my questions are answered thanks.

The 6 months rule has changed. You can work unlimited hours on campus and work 20 hours per week off campus. PGD students are allowed to work as well. As for the rest of your questions you need to do a research.

I search for months and can confidently say that there is none!

GMAT is a pre-requisite for Finance and Accounting related courses on an advanced stage like MSc!

I won't say you should stop searching but expand your tentacles.

I am having just one problem with my TRV application, and that is sponsorship.
I have about collectively 1.5million naira in my account but I need a sponsor whose account balance should be about 4-5mil. I have done all I can but to no avail. Please someone should advice me on what to do and how to go about it.
My classes starts September 2016.
Thanks

Your best bet is to contact VFS either by mail or chat. Get your tracking ID ready when you are about to.

I applied on the 29th February, didn't get called and by time I decided to track last week, I saw that it has been dispatched from Accra, picked it up in Lagos yesterday and it's a NO

I suppose you are a Sis...

1. CIC documents are very comprehensible and written in English making it easy to fill. If you need any help in some parts you could seek help but saying with all, that one go kinda hard as you need to fill your name in some spaces and am sure you don't need help with that.

2. You are to submit all CIC documents, Admission letter and Statement of Account as originals. Others can suffice as photocopies..

Am sure those info should help...

Good evening, planning to reapply as soon as possible via paper work. I like to ask some questions relating to filling the form.
What does the available fund for your stay means in the form? Is it the total money set aside for the study or the fund that will be available after tuition and accommodation has been paid?
Also, as I have been denied a visa once and in the refusal letter sent to me, I was given a UCI number, do I need to include it in the new form in the space provided and also how do I indicate in the form that I have done medical in my previous application in January ?
Thanks

Lol.. you've port to travel section,, but biko no warlords here o grin and for your questions:
PGD students too are allowed to work,, search on Google for "universities in Ontario" and apply for the one you feel is affordable for you.. and it better you start reading this thread from at least, part 7 so as to have a clearer perspective about studying in Canada

cheers!!

I'm sorry to hear this, loriaidah, and I'm glad you'll be tackling the reasons. However, I'd like for you to sit and go through each and every of your documents and see in what way you can convince the VO that you'll be returning.
1 - Travel history. They use this many times as a reason for denial but it truly isn't, is your passport a virgin passport ? They trust applicants that have traveled and returned more than those that haven't. This isn't a basis for any applicant to be turned down though.
2 - Are you married ? If not, do you have a rental agreement that you could attach to your application ? Did you declare all your siblings on the family form ? This won't contribute much but you never know and tbh, you've got nothing to lose by attaching anything you find useful enough for the VO to be convinced. And if you're married, please and please attach a copy of your marriage certificate plus pictures too. This is mandatory for verification.
3 - Do you have a long study gap ? If you do, could you elaborate on this as to why you decided to wait so-so long to the VO, in a letter of explanation? This could range from you decided to get married to having a child, or work for sometime for hands-on experience.. the list goes on.

From akanni,
for your flight, try google flight to get the lowest price, then proceed to the specific airline.
Also, compare with wakanow.com, bt-store and worldtravelandtours
Flights can do Lagos-London-Halifax, Lagos-US-Toronto-Halifax, Lagos-Amsterdam-Toronto-Halifax.

From Amefrica,
You'll need a transit VISA to go through the US oo.

From TheBae,
I flew United, Lagos-Houston-Toronto-Halifax. It was pretty okay, nothing spectacular. They mice milk -_-. But the flights were pretty smooth except that my Houston-Toronto flight got delayed for an hour which affected my other flight to Halifax.
