My Top Marvel/dc Series by kachi19: 12:05pm On Feb 25, 2016 |
1. DARE DEVIL: This is the best comic adaptation since the Dark Knight. Is it overrated? By far a Marvelous work of film art from Marvel. With tight adherence to its source material's history, high production quality, and a no nonsense dramatic flair, Daredevil excels as an effective super hero origin story, a gritty procedural, and an exciting action adventure. 2. JESSICA JONES: I'm still having tough time convincing my mind why this should not be number one. This series is classically marvel's best work. Jessica Jones builds a multifaceted drama around its engaging antihero, delivering what might be Marvel's strongest TV franchise to date. 3. CONSTANTINE: You must be wondering what this is doing on the list but constantine is a DC ongoing comic of a british magician, exorcist and supernatural detective. Constantine's creepy atmosphere, high-stakes action, and splendid special effects combine with a welcome touch of humor to overcome narrative flaws and present a version of the title character that's close to his comics counterpart. Intelligent production, captivating, thrilling and in-depth sorcery, dark knowledge and magical finesse 4. ARROWS: DC nails the target with Arrow, a comic book- inspired series that benefits from cinematic action sequences, strong plotting, and intriguing characters. Intrigued by the mash up and all round arrangement of casts and plot... I think Arrows deserve a thumbs up! 5. LUCIFER: you should wonder "what's this one?" But this is actually a DC masterpiece comic #16; Plot centers What happens Lucifer MorningStar gets bored of hell and resigns from his post and takes a vacation to earth, the whole thrilling story, intelligent casts and screenplay. The whole story seems hilarious and out-of-line but it has a way of driving ur advert down the imaginarium, seems real and makes u curious and want more... Great humor and good application of black comedy 6. THE FLASH: Those of us Superhero/Action genre lover will make a good taste of this one. The Flash benefits from its purposefully light atmosphere, making it a superhero show uniquely geared toward genre fans as well as novices. The exquisite use of science and Comedy too not withstanding is a +1 7. AGENT CARTER: Marvel series centered on After the Captain alleged death with so much still at stake. Focusing on Peggy Carter as a person first and an action hero second makes Marvel's Agent Carter a winning, stylish drama with bursts of excitement and an undercurrent of cheeky fun I could only pick out these, let's see what you guys take on these |

Doesn't arrow belong to DC? Or is "arrows" something different entirely? 1 Like |

For me, DC's Flash comes first, followed by Arrow, then Daredevil, Jessica Jones and others. Agent Carter is definitely the last |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by kachi19: 1:27pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
TheSociopath: These ones u mentioned as top rated are actually very predictable, u can guess the end from the beginning. Try lucifer or dare devil. U will understand perfectly planned series 1 Like |

kachi19: I did mention Daredevil as one of my top rated. Flash is unpredictable to me and it's full of suspense. I'll try Lucifer soon. |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by kachi19: 1:43pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
TheSociopath: Lol I knew another speed related villian would arrive as an arch enemy from the Epi 1 of season 2. And by each episode u already know how it turns out. Maybe its because I've been watching super hero for too long... And u should try Lucifer |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by TheSociopath(m): 1:49pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
kachi19: Everyone knows that! Would it have been as interesting as it is if the villain isn't a speedster? I'm definitely trying Lucifer |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by kachi19: 1:53pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
TheSociopath: See Jessica Jones; the villian is a telepathic. Could mess with ur mind at anytime of anyday and drive u REAL nuts. U can see how difficult it is to defeat such. He sees and hears ur thought and be always one step ahead - check am now! That's what I call interesting. We all know Berry Allen would need his friend or one advance tech to defeat the speedster |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by TheSociopath(m): 1:59pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
kachi19: Jessica Jones was actually predictable to me. I knew she would be immune to the villain's telepathy! Daredevil is my most favourite marvel series. But The Flash is my most favourite DC series and overall most favourite |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by kachi19: 2:12pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
TheSociopath: That's what I still try to understand why? Its the same with supergirl! But the wide range of characters and dramatic influences is what makes it fascinating; if not, if it was an individual Character like the dare devil. I wouldn't waste my time watching it :/ |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by TheSociopath(m): 2:25pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
kachi19: You're right. DC's seriies always follow similar pattern. They always include a computer geek, the hero and his other accomplices |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by kachi19: 3:04pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
TheSociopath: Like Legends of Tomorrow; Characters from The Flash - another unnecessary series. |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by TheSociopath(m): 3:42pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
kachi19: I'm not avidly following that one. I think I'm still on the fourth episode or so. I'm taking a break from the superhero thingy, I'm seeing Orange is The New Black now. I'm on the third season |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by kachi19: 3:52pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
TheSociopath: I haven't heard about that. Even me too I'm a bit out of the superhero league. I'm following The Shadow Hunters! |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by TheSociopath(m): 3:59pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
kachi19: Never heard of The Shadow Hunters as well, ama add it to my to-view list if I see a good rating on Rotten Tomatoes or Metacritic |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by kachi19: 4:03pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
TheSociopath: You know sometimes these ratings are really crazy and absurd. But yet you should... So tell me bout Orange is the new black |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by TheSociopath(m): 4:08pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
kachi19: It's a drama comedy set up in a female prison. So many funny, controversial nd beautiful characters. The first time I'm watching a series dominated by female casts. You should try it sometimes |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by kachi19: 4:16pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
TheSociopath: Lol I saw it. It has a 8/10 on review but I was going to follow up house of card it has a 9\10. Anyways I'll go withe urs if trully its a comedy drama |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by TheSociopath(m): 4:20pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
kachi19: I got bored after 2 episodes of House of Cards. People hold it in high esteem, I guess I wasn't patient enough with the series. You won't believe that I've not seen the famous Game of Thrones . I stopped after season 1. |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by kachi19: 4:25pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
TheSociopath: Lol na real famous game of thrones. Me? I haven't even seen Epi 01 season 01 |

Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by kachi19: 5:02pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
TheSociopath:I swear I've not really been drawn to the series. Is it under netflix?? |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by parrotibaba(m): 5:04pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
TheSociopath: That TV series is way worse than the movie. |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by TheSociopath(m): 5:07pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
parrotibaba: Really? I've seen that the reviews/ratings are not that favourable. |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by TheSociopath(m): 5:10pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
kachi19: Nope. HBO has not put any of it's programming, including Game of Thrones on Netflix or Hulu for some time now. |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by kachi19: 6:13pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
TheSociopath: Do you watch the series on ur phone because netflix series are really have heavy data tags |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by parrotibaba(m): 6:31pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
TheSociopath:Yeah, I stopped at episode 4 and that's because I like to give TV shows time to impress. The girl playing the main character sucks and story is weak. Overall everything is weak and crappy same as the magicians. Just watch the movie and save yourself the stress of watching that crap. The movie is called "the mortal instruments; the city of bones. I'm not saying that the movie is great but it is way better than this crappy spinoff. |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by TheSociopath(m): 7:28pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
kachi19: Yes, I download the series from o2tvseries.com . The quality is not that great but they come good on my samsung android. |
Re: My Top Marvel/dc Series by TheSociopath(m): 7:30pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
parrotibaba: Oh! I've seen the movie a bazillion times, I always stop halfway. My brother likes it though. I don't give series much chances to impress me, two boring introductory episodes and that's bye bye. |
