Dont mind fashola ,now he realizes that managing the power ministry alone for the whole nation is more tasking and demanding than governing the whole of Lagos state. The challenges of the power sector has completely overwhelmed him.

Someone should please enlighten us about the roles of GENCOs as regards the operations of these power stations. To the best of my understanding, the power plants were sold to private companies under the last administration. I expect that this government would hold the GENCOs accountable as these plants are strategic national infrastructure. If the GENCOs are unable to run these plants efficiently, it wont be out of place to re-visit the sale of these important national infrastructure.

Quote me any day anywhere, Buhari/APC will be the worst govt in the history of Nigeria!

u still don't have any single like. lolzzzzzz.
no country is corruption free. buhari should fight corruption with wisdom. His style of fighting "thieves" is d reason for scarcity of PMS in d first place. Now he is going back to his old vomit ie, to allow independent marketers import 60% of refined PMS since he can now see dat NNPC can't provide all d oil Nigeria needs in a day.
>>> Did u say "obsolete". Lolzzzzzz. GEJ administration generated over 4500MW of light with those "obsolete" equipments(SOURCE: US Energy Information Administration & NERC). Buhari can't kick his leg against the goad & not get hurt. Lack of Gas supply to d "obsolete" turbines is d main reason for light deficit. There has always being shortage of gas even in d last administration but GEJ managed it well. I don't have all d tym to type. If we were talking one on one then I would have educated u. Nobody his fighting buhari, he just lacks leadership ability. His policies are equally poorly thought out. "peace.

Lol...

So tell me what changed between GEJ and now..

How I have been surviving Fuel Scarcity and Lack of Electricity:
Go to Nearby Bank Greet Everyone, Plug Phone to Charge, Plug Power Bank, Rechargeable Fan, Drink Water from Dispenser, Sit Enjoy AC, Watch Buhari on CNN, Withdraw N1000 Thank the bank staff and return home. The next day go and join queue to pay back the N1000 into account.

light changed o.
business was better. the environment was conducive dear.
Demand pull inflation was non existent.
even wen GEJ removed subsidy in 2012, it wasn't selling at #180 or #200 per litre.
the number of Nigerians living below the poverty bench mark weren't as much as it will become.
wen subsidy was restored the same independent marketers sold fuel at government regulated price of #87.
bros e plenty ooo.

No, the end hasn't come yet. Nigeria will suffer so much in the hands of PMB even to the point of death. Then she will call on God to deliver her. That is when the end will come. I think God is not happy with Nigeria for rejecting GEJ. Look carefully, what did u see? No light, no fuel, no salary, economic meltdown, no money, price of goods have doubled, transport fare doubled, insecurity everywhere, job loss accross the country, investors are pulling out etc. All these things are happening at the same time. I think is not ordinary? Nigeria's problem has escalated already, believe me, FG is confuse, even PMB don't know what to do and where to start from.

Buhari has to be held totally responsible for the depth this nation has fallen to. One of the strengths of a leader is choosing his battles right but the dull president of Nigeria failed woefully on all fronts.

How exactly does any sensible government who is interested in fixing power and generating constant power choose a battle in the creeks from where the gas required to power the turbines are coming from? ..... especially when you don't have a clear plan to fight the vandals to a stand still while protecting the gas facilities.

Infact.... Without unity of purpose, Nigeria is headed for the rocks. You can mock SS and IPOB as much as you want but once they are not plugged into the "project Nigeria"... then they are available tools for economic sabotage. This is exactly where Buhari failed woefully.

If in doubt .... Name one nation with disunity in purpose that made political, social or economic progress?

What are you even saying?

I don't like the black out at all but blaming tye presidency for the vandalisation of the tas pipelines is just baseless

Did he take anything from them or did he destroy their homes?

These guys have been causing trouble to nigerians for too long

Even the past administration sat down with the major stakeholders of these communities but it didn't work.

What do they want exactly?

If its to cleanse their lands of oil spills and the likes... Have they not commisioned that project numerous times...

I mean these guys are their worst enemies and it is affecting nigeria as a whole...

Forget buhari and fashola for now. Hte main problem here are the vandals...

This is what I say. Without social justice Nigeria cannot develop. No country can ultimately prevail under the force of arms alone. Anyone who loves this country and wants it to progress must love ALL its people and want them ALL to prosper.

I was not expecting fixing the problems with Nigeria to be easy.. The Dams and turbines are obsolete, Gas lines being vandalised daily, what do you expect?

If they are shutting down fully, I have no problem, as long as any moves the Government makes going forward are all geared towards a long term solution.

All I will ask President Buhari to do is be transparent. Give us undiluted truth on the situation of things on the ground. Whats responsible for these issues and what moves is he making to fix them. Thats all we can ask..
