Kudos to all Gurus here. Please I need your help.
I was given a bachelor degree admission by one of the Universities in Canada. My thought before applying was to receive a tuition waiver scholarship from the School, but unfortunately I did not. If I should proceed and pay tuition fee, The money with me can only pay the first year Tuition fee, flight fare and accommodation for some months. I do not have a sponsorer.#hustler. Getting a Visa won't be a problem. I have an expert who can assist me with needed requirements

My questions
1. pls is there any scholarship for international student in Canada for BSC that I can apply to?

2. I am hardworking. Can I survive by working while studying?

You assistance will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Horpsy5, to choose a supervisor, for ubc u check your program check lecturers/professors specialized in your area of interest then send them a mail containing sop (optional), cv and transcript...

In addition, try to be formal with your salutation, ... Dear Prof.... A brief introduction and sell your self very well to make the person want to check your transcript

U didnt mention the university u are going too..
What will be the course u will be studying?'
Which department have u been admitted too?
Check if they have FGSR (Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research) scholarships

to answer ur second question.. Yes! U can survive while working and studying..
Most Jobs for students is normally 20 hrs a week.. flexible so that it shouldnt affect ur studies..
I will advice u to take a job within d campus.

By the way u seem soooo sure or ur visa..
why not share ur secrets or knowledge to help dos that have been rejected here... smiley

Good Luck..

I went ahead to create GCKey and after that, the site said "Click continue to access our online services. when I clicked, it took me back again to APPLY ONLY.

I have been on this for more than one week now and not able to create a profile.

Please what am getting wrong?

I do have exact same problem with my account. Sometimes I will have to log in for more than 3 times before getting pass the click here to continue. I believe it's a bug or something and it only happened to my account not anyone else on my Safari browser. My own solution is to use Mozilla Firefox. Try switching and trying with different web browsers.

Has anybody tried using a cousin as sponsor? And did he/she identified where the cousin was on a family tree?

I wan given admission in university of Manitoba I want to use my cousin who stays in US as my sponsor to apply for TRV. Will it not disqualify me?

I hope you're not talking about an "expert" as a visa agent because you cannot crack a Canadian visa with that. They verify to the last bit. One of the reasons why the application takes long.
I'm not assuming this is your case - just letting you know how it is.

I have been trying to create the MyCIC account so that I can commence my online application but each time it keeps taking me back to "apply online" . I have followed all the steps from COM ING TO CANADA and the ELIGIBILITY which was positive. Still I can't find where to open the cic account. Please I need help.

Try using a different browser. Works for me each time I change my browser

You will be denied for purpose of visit. If you want to immigrate to Canada, use the express entry.

Not necessarily. She can try the PhD route as well

Thank you for your reply. I was admitted to University of Regina, saskatchewan. Bachelor degree in Computer Science. Will the money I make from working be sufficient to pay for subsequent year's school fees?

Concerning the Visa, was sure because I have someone around me who is an agent, He has a wide range of experience concerning Canadian Visa.
