Did you actually get a United flight from Abuja? As far as I know they don't fly from Abuja, even tried when I was about traveling last month and was told they only fly from Lagos. Unless maybe it's a new development? nkwamna: |

omohose: You lied and the vo has updated ur records that u don't intend to seek any medical assistance as you stated in ur interview. That was why the question of are you pregnant was asked. So if for any reason u go ahead and seek medical assistance it will definetely affect you and urs on d long run. Like LadyG told u, use it for the vacation u stated in ur interview. Good luck. 2 Likes |

Querylady24:post questions or post new topic? if its post questions...its the same way u posted this ur write up........... but if its to create a new topic...u need to go to the relevant section of nairaland to post... eg this thread is on travel section, thus if u want to post a new travel related topic, navigate to travel section...then look for CREATE NEW TOPIC, click on it and start the new topic,....if its sexuality or health....go to the relevant section. attached is a screen shot explaining further

Hello everyone, I am new on here and just have a few questions. Got my visa in Nov wasn't asked any pregnancy question (I wasn't at that point) traveled Dec got back Jan. Want to go for delivery in July, I have read on here that I have to write a Notification of intent letter to the embassy. Can I write the letter now? Or it's still early? How long does it take for the embassy to respond? Do I need to attach all receipt of payment made with the letter? I have been making payment to Dr and hospital. Will I still need to carry cash? And how much should I be looking at? Going to Houston and everything about the POE is making me nervous so I am trying to prepare and get all detailed information needed. I have also bought my ticket and read here you need a return ticket for the baby? Why? I thought for infants it was free. |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 4 by LadyGuinivere: 5:58pm On Apr 07, 2016 |
Querylady24:1. Notification of intent is not a must. Its by choice. Folks send it however to show good conscience and have a smoother poe experience. 2. U can send at anytime u want. The issue is just send it. You get a response within 3 days max. You do not need to attach anything. Proof of payment is at poe 3. If you have paid, take aloing EVERY proof of payment. Its also good to have cash at hand (read back. Sometimes some overdo cbps fly off the handle when They don't see cash) The most important thing is to establish you can pay and that means carrying verifiable evidence to poe. Could be cash. Could be proof of payment. Cards and statements fly but its more tedious to establish proof. 4. The amount of cash you carry is dependent on your expected expense. Do a personal budget sheet. Check the total expected total you will spend for everything. And plan accordingly. 5. As you have seen, you need to pay for an infant for international travel. Check your airline website for policy on travelling with an infant. 4 Likes |

nefertitiram: After an IVF cycle in October, got pregnant naturally in Dec, didn't find out until end of Jan even though I was preparing for another round of IVF for February and I did take pregnancy test on Dec 15 to be precise. So I agree with you it does take a while to know for some people. 12 Likes |
