Yes. We are Christians for the following reasons:
We try to follow closely the teachings and behavior of Jesus Christ.— 1 Peter 2:21 .
We believe that Jesus is the key to salvation, that “there is not another name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved.”— Acts 4:12 .
When people become Jehovah’s Witnesses, they are baptized in the name of Jesus.—
Matthew 28:18, 19.
We offer our prayers in Jesus’ name.— John 15:16 .
We believe that Jesus is the Head, or the one appointed to have authority, over every man.—1 Corinthians 11:3 .
However, in a number of ways, we are different from other religious groups that are called Christian. For example, we believe that the Bible teaches that Jesus is the Son of God, not part of a Trinity. ( Mark 12:29 ) We do not believe that the soul is immortal, that there is any basis in Scripture for saying that God tortures people in an everlasting hell, or that those who take the lead in religious activities should have titles that elevate them above others.— Ecclesiastes 9:5; Ezekiel 18:4; Matthew 23:8-10 .

JW are not Christians for the following reasons
1. They do not believe that Christ was raised from the dead bodily. They said God could have melted the body of Jesus with chemicals. When you point to how he appeared to his disciples and asked doubting Thomas to touch him, they said that Jesus just materialized that moment. What a lie from the pit of hell.
2. They are not born again. You can not be a believer unless you are born again. Jesus said, you must be born again. John 3:1-7
3. They deny the deity of Christ. They say Jesus is not God. But the Bible teaches otherwise. You have only three class of being higher than the animal life. You are either a human being, angel or God. We all know Jesus is not human. He only took up our human nature to redeem us. We also know he is not an angel. He is God because he is the Son of God. His father is his God. He is only suspect to his father. The father that you have a boss in your office doesn't make your boss more human. In the same sense, the fact that the God his father is the head of Jesus doesn't make him more God. They have the same nature in essence. That is why Jesus said, anyone who has seen me has seen my father. He is the express image of God. John 1:1 summarizes it - In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God.
3. They deny the existence of a place of torment called hell based on preconceived opinion not based on scriptures. They present it from a logical reasoning that a God of love cannot throw people into hell. If this is true, then Sodom and Gomorrah will have a legal right to protest the destruction of their lives and the two cities with fire. My readers, hell is real. Jesus spoke about it in his teachings with no trace of ambiguity. He used different terms to describe hell and the manner of suffering. He calls it, furnace of fire, everlasting fire, fire that cannot be quenched, where the worms do not die. He also said that there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth night and day.
4. They will never preach Christ to you who is the very essence of Christianity.
5. They do not believe Jesus is coming back. Rather, they teach he has already returned spiritually.
6. They deny the deity and the person of the Holy Spirit calling him a wind of force.
7. They say only 144,000 will make heaven. This is a lie from the pit of hell.
8. They preach salvation is by work. The Bible says it is by grace - Ephesians 2:8 - 9.
9. They have made many false predictions of the earth and of the world. That makes them false prophets.
10. They claim to be the only mouth piece of God. That is a weird claim. God can not have just one month piece. He told Elijah that he has 7,000 prophets reserved.
I can go on and on. I admire their commitment but they are not Christians. They are agents of darkness. They are anti Christ. Only those who are perishing listens to them. Their messages appeals to the senses but they are not scriptural.

1. They do not believe that Christ was raised from the dead bodily. They said God could have melted the body of Jesus with chemicals. When you point to how he appeared to his disciples and asked doubting Thomas to touch him, they said that Jesus just materialized that moment. What a lie from the pit of hell.

The Bible says that Jesus was “enlivened,” or resurrected, “in the spirit.” (1 Peter 3:18, Dy; compare 1 Cor 15:45.) The apostle Paul further says that “flesh and blood cannot possess the kingdom of God.”—1 Cor 15:42-50, Dy.

2. They are not born again. You can not be a believer unless you are born again. Jesus said, you must be born again. John 3:1-7

'...you must be born again' by who and in what form? Can you born yourself?

In your first birth, you were born in flesh and by someone in flesh. You did not born yourself. In re-birth one WILL BE BORN in spirit and by someone in spirit. Flesh begets flesh; spirit begets spirit. I am absolutely sure you don't understand what it means to be born again. Note: it's difference from repentance. JWs believe and have deeper understanding of John 3:1-7 and other related scriptures.

3. They deny the deity of Christ. They say Jesus is not God. But the Bible teaches otherwise. You have only three class of being higher than the animal life. You are either a human being, angel or God. We all know Jesus is not human.
Anything can be God - stone, wood even you. Jesus is not the almighty God or one of the three Gods of the trinity.

He only took up our human nature to redeem us.

Human nature is flesh. After his redemption death he was still raised in human nature, flesh? What form is Jesus?

We also know he is not an angel.

Tell us what/who an angel is and let look at him in that light and see if he is or not an angel.

He is God because he is the Son of God.
He is also called the son of man. By the way, is Jesus the only one described as the son of God in the bible? This point is weak.

His father is his God.
His father is also our father and our God. This is very illogical, try something else.

He is only suspect to his father. The father that you have a boss in your office doesn't make your boss more human. In the same sense, the fact that the God his father is the head of Jesus doesn't make him more God. They have the same nature in essence.
They have no issue with this. At least, it shows people like you are beginning to see the truth about Jesus' subordination to his father - one untruth about trinity thus debunked.

That is why Jesus said, anyone who has seen me has seen my father. He is the express image of God.
Yes, because they work in agreement. They have one goal and purpose and WAS SENT (AS A MESSAGER) to do, not his will, but that of his sender, his father. Once again, WHO IS AN ANGEL?

John 1:1 summarizes it - In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God.
In the beginning of what?

He calls it, furnace of fire, everlasting fire, fire that cannot be quenched, where the worms do not die. He also said that there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth night and day.

"just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire." - JUDE 7

QUESTION: Where were the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah? Were they in heaven or on earth? According to you and Jude 7, these cities underwent a punishment of ETERNAL FIRE, is fire presently burning in these two cities, if no, why? Can you marry this Jude 7 with your comment and hell fire dogma?

4. They will never preach Christ to you who is the very essence of Christianity.
They do that more than those professing to be Christians.

5. They do not believe Jesus is coming back. Rather, they teach he has already returned spiritually.
Be specific! Come back to walk the earth?

6. They deny the deity and the person of the Holy Spirit calling him a wind of force.

No scripture says that the phrase: "holy spirit" is a God. That a word or phrase is sometimes personalized does not make it a person. Many things are personalized in the bible. The bible talks of the holy spirit being poured on persons. QUESTION: Can you pour a God or a person on persons? Such an impersonal use of the phrase alone belies all claims of its personality and deity. A Goat can't even be said to be poured on someone.

7. They say only 144,000 will make heaven. This is a lie from the pit of hell.
They have scriptural basis for this stance. They also believe a great multitude, which no one can number, will leave on earth forever in perfect environment and condition.

8. They preach salvation is by work. The Bible says it is by grace - Ephesians 2:8 - 9.
The believe that to gain salvation, you MUST exercise faith in Jesus' ransom sacrifice. They don't use sermon on grace to encourage ungodliness and unrepentance, as you do, knowingly or unknowingly. Bible encourages work of good deeds and faith in Christ.

9. They have made many false predictions of the earth and of the world. That makes them false prophets.
10. They claim to be the only mouth piece of God. That is a weird claim. God can not have just one month piece. He told Elijah that he has 7,000 prophets reserved.

JWs are Christians not because they profess to be, but because they follow Christ's steps closely. To them, Christianity is more of a way of life than words of mouth. While they don't claim to be perfect, the never hesitate to humbly let go any teaching, dogma or stance that lack scriptural support.

jw like mormorns are christian sects in the sense that they share many beliefs with christians but they fundamentally disagree with christians on the subject of grace, the person of Christ and the destiny of the faithfuls

"No, they are not Christian."

....Like all non-Christian cults, the Jehovah's Witness' organization distorts the essential doctrines of Christianity. It denies the deity of Christ, His physical resurrection, and salvation by grace. These make it non-Christian. In addition, to support its erring doctrines, the Watchtower organization (which is the author and teacher of all official Jehovah's Witness' theology) has altered the Bible to make it agree with its changing and non-Christian teachings.....

....Additionally, the Jehovah's Witness' organization requires of its members regular weekly attendance at their "Bible Study" meetings where they are repeatedly indoctrinated with anti-Christian teachings. This is done by reading the Watchtower magazine, following along with what it says, reading the questions it asks, and reciting the answers it gives. In other words, the Watchtower Organization carefully trains its members to let the Organization do their thinking for them. For confirmation of this, please read Does the Watchtower organization control the JW's thinking?....

....The Witnesses are told that they will be persecuted when they go door-to-door teaching their doctrines. They are further told that this is simply the enemy fighting against God's organization because they are in "the truth." So, when someone disagrees with them, they are conditioned to reflect on what the Watchtower has told them. They then feel confirmed in being in God's true organization on earth (like all cults claim).....

....The Jehovah's Witnesses are discouraged from looking into Jehovah's Witness' history or old Watchtower literature which is replete with contradictions, altered doctrines, and false prophecies. Instead, they are indoctrinated repeatedly against basic Christian doctrines (Trinity, deity of Christ, etc.,) and into the notion that they alone are the true servants of God and that all others are either in "Christendom" or simply unbelievers.....

....It is a non-Christian cult.

No, Jehovah’s Witnesses are not a cult. Rather, we are Christians who do our best to follow the example set by Jesus Christ and to live by his teachings.
What is a cult?
The term “cult” means different things to different people. However, consider two common perceptions regarding cults and why those perceptions don’t apply to us.
Some think of a cult as being a new or unorthodox religion. Jehovah’s Witnesses have not invented a new religion. On the contrary, we pattern our worship after that of the first-century Christians, whose example and teachings were recorded in the Bible. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17 ) We believe that the Holy Scriptures should be the authority on what is orthodox in matters of worship.
Some think of a cult as being a dangerous religious sect with a human leader. Jehovah’s Witnesses do not look to any human as their leader. Rather, we adhere to the standard that Jesus set for his followers when he stated: “Your Leader is one, the Christ.”— Matthew 23:10 .
Far from being a dangerous cult, Jehovah’s Witnesses practice a religion that benefits its members and others in the community. For example, our ministry has helped many people to
overcome harmful addictions, such as the abuse of drugs and alcohol. In addition, we conduct literacy classes around the world, helping thousands
learn to read and write . And we are actively involved in disaster relief. We work hard to have a positive impact on others, just as Jesus commanded his followers to do.— Matthew 5:13-16

Yes. We believe in Jesus, who said: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6 ) We have faith that Jesus came to earth from heaven and gave his perfect human life as a ransom sacrifice. (Matthew 20:28 ) His death and resurrection make it possible for those exercising faith in him to gain everlasting life. (John 3:16 ) We also believe that Jesus is now ruling as King of God’s heavenly Kingdom, which will soon bring peace to the entire earth. (Revelation 11:15 ) However, we take Jesus at his word when he said: “The Father is greater than I am.” (John 14:28 ) So we do not worship Jesus, as we do not believe that he is Almighty God.

There is only one God and he is called mighty, and He is called almighty

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

God is Almighty God
the Word is Almighty God

There is not a Almighty God and a mighty God, only a sect would teach and believe that.

He is mighty and He is almighty.

almighty and mighty are words used in the Bible for referring to God in some instances, and are not referring to God, and "a god".

I have seen many times where supposed jw's say that Almighty God refers to Jehovah and mighty god refers to
the Word Jesus Christ "a god".

The below verses all refer to Jehovah:

Deu_7:21 Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.

Psa_50:1 A Psalm of Asaph. The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

Psa_132:2 How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;

Psa_132:5 Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

Jer_32:18 Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name,

Hab_1:12 Art thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.

Jesus called mighty God:

Isa_9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Both Jesus and Jehovah are called mighty God.

John calls Jesus the almighty:

Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

God and the Word are called mighty and are called almighty, because that's what God is.
I like to call Him "awesome", His that to.

The name alone said it all. Christians are called to be witnessed for Christ not for Jehovah

How can they witness for christ? When they teach that worshiping Jesus is idolatry.

Isaiah 43:10 American Standard Version (ASV)
Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Acts 2:36 King James Version (KJV)
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Matthew 4:10 New International Version (NIV)
Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’ ”
Footnotes:
a. Matthew 4:10 Deut. 6:13

1 cor 15:27-28
27 For he “has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. 28 When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.

Assuming I pretend to agree with you, then why is the preaching of Jesus left out by JW's?

Not true, it's only jehovah that has the title almighty God.
The Bible acknowledges the fact that jesus is a powerful God too, apart from almighty God himself no other person is bigger than Jesus.
Now listen to that bible portion thats John 1:1 it says in the beginning the word was with God.
Think about this , what beginning is the bible talking about here?
Almighty God doesn't have a beginning but the bible clearly tells us that Jesus has a beginning and was created by Jehovah himself.
Then again think about this the said he was with God, now how can one be with another person and at the same time be that same person?
It may interest you to know that Jesus christ never at a any point claim to be the same person as his father. No eye can see Jehovah but eyes saw Jesus christ. There are many reasons why christ and his father Jehovah are different personalities.

Why are you chatting like the market women on the street?
I could as well say that it has been known to you times without number that Jehovahs witnesses believe in trinity, how about that?

The watchtower study book- what does the bible Jehovahs witnesses really teach-

Has only chapter 4 and 5 on Jesus, out of 19 chapters. Considering the fact that Jesus himself is the cornerstone of christainity. Infact the word christain was coined from christ. The condition for salvation is simple, believe Jesus was raised from the dead and confess him as lord of your life. romans 10:9

Instead the watchtower teaches that salvation is dependent on your obedience to the governing body not Jesus. The governing body have now replaced Jesus.

"During the final period of the ancient world that perished in the Flood, Noah was a faithful preacher of righteousness. (2 Peter 2:5) In these last days of the present system of things, Jehovah's people are making known Gods righteous standards and are declaring good news about the possibility of surviving into the new world. (2 Peter 3:9-13) Just as Noah and his God-fearing family were preserved in the ark, survival of individuals today depends on their faith and their loyal association with the earthly part of Jehovah's universal organization." Watchtower 2006 May 15 p.22 "Are You Prepared for Survival?"

"In effect, Jesus also conveys Jehovah’s voice to us as he directs the congregation through “the faithful and discreet slave.”[Governing body] (Matt. 24:45) We need to take this guidance and direction seriously, for our everlasting life depends on our obedience." Ken4Christ:
Their messages appeals to the senses but they are not scriptural.
my beloveth brother, i love you with the love of God for relieving me of the stress of writing this, exactly what i wanted writing...also, just to add, all their teaching is centered on, the meek shall inherit the earth...everything they preach and teach does not go beyond the sphericity of the earth...you can imagine where they are leading the naive ones to...that's why i chase them like bess whenever they come close to meundecided

So that's strange to you?
Or they didn't show you were it is in the Bible?
Or because your doesn't teach that make JWs not to be Christians?
You ask them to show you where it is in the Bible not to come here to condemn them.
