Bro ..,you wasting your time... Ignoramus numbskulls will still vote the likes of GEJ in again come 2019. Mark my words. They claim they want a change but don't want the pain that comes with it... Bunch of a'oles.. No pain no gain in simple words.

One of the major problems wrong with Nigerians is that we forget easily. This is the reason why hardened criminals and looters in the past can easily come back and contest for public office to the extent of winning. It is so sad that some people, mostly youths who are the leaders of tomorrow are going about with the slogan "#BringBackOurCorruption". They say they want the last administration presided by Good luck Ebele Jonathan back in power cos they can't stand the current fuel scarcity amidst other challenges that I believe the Nation will breeze through in due time.

This brainwashed blind bats who love to view things ethnically are quick to forget that the fuel scarcity experienced towards the end of the last administration's tenure was really unbearable compared to what we are currently facing now. Then, major sectors were shutting down, from telecommunications to the media, from aviation to banking. Nigerians were literally cut off from the rest of the world during that period. A period in which getting a bus to the bank to withdraw money was difficult cos buses had no fuel. When you manage to get to the bank, you are told you arrived late cos they close early due to shortage of diesel. Was the power sector any different?

Take a look at the pictures of fuel scarcity events that took place in the last administration below and tell me that Nigerians didn't make a good choice in voting them out.

@ op, be sincere it was not this bad under Jonathan, mind you the shortage of fuel towards the end of Jonathan's tenure was a grand manipulations from the detractors of his government just to whip up sentiments from the already angry electorates who are hell bent to get him out. Jonathan's government had the singular honour of stopping our seasonal December 24th-28th shortage of fuel we witnessed for 6 years under Obj's eight years.... This is the noble truth.
Still under PDP right? What makes you think this same detractors aren't the ones detracting the administration of PMB just to make nigerians regret ever voting him?

No offence but this is a very unsmart conclusion. Tell me why abyone would want to sabotage a GEJ that had already been voted out and was about to handover?

Another Jonathanian also made this unsmart allegation which holds no single water for the power situation. Exactly in the same May last year, just a week to handover, power generation dropped to 1327mw and he claimed it was APC sabotaging power infrastructure. How could GEJ's detractors sabotage power infrastructure after they had already won GEJ and just a week to handover?.... The lameness of this allegation/excuse is legendary.
Sorry for that.
petroluem marketers who were owed some arrears were afraid that the new administration will nit settle the debt because buhari disclaimed subsidy payment. so the marketers went on industrial action to force govt to pay them before leaving. thats what resulted in that may 2015 scarcity.

We can also say the oil marketers who have refused to lift fuel now are doing that on sentiments ground. Because they not happy with the way this administration Is keeping a check on them, especially on subsidy related issues.

if this administration criticised the previous one when they were opposition for things they don't have solutions for, u should be ashamed coming here to defend them.
I can't ever remember the last time when the fuel situation was this bad, u are here defending failures.
you are here calling people wailers, where are those who where shouting during Gej administration?
all of a sudden they became dumb.
Nigeria can't get better because we always have excuses for failure.
the previous government was incapable, the capable one cant find a solution to simple problem, and you are here writing this.

This is the worst government ever since 1960 after Abacha stove era in the 90s.

Elsewhere in the world, prices of petroleum products are getting cheaper, in Nigeria, it is not only more expensive by over 150%, it is very very scarce.
Nigeria's case defies logic. Every government from independence including this present government have been useless. Although, tagging a government who hasn't used up to a year as the worst government will be unfair.
Ironsi - 6 months
Gowon - 9 years ()
Murtala Mohammed - Almost 8 months
Obasanjo - 3 years
Shagari - 4 years
Buhari - 1 year 8 months
Babangida - 8 years
Shonekan - Almost 3 months
Abacha - Almost 5 years
Abdusalam - 1 year

Democratic Rule
_______________________________________________________

Obasanjo - 96 months
Yar'Adua - 36 months
Jonathan - 60 months
Buhari - 10 months

Buhari has used just 10 months and you claim its the worst government? I understand the exaggeration because this fuel scarcity issue has continued with us under each government from 1999 till date.

I also understand your frustration with this administration because they haven't changed the usual things we know is wrong with Nigeria despite its promises but to label it the worst is uncharitable just after 10 months is too short a time. When its 2018 if all that is happening is still present then, then I will agree with your opinion.

Fuel is unavailable, and Nigerians are busy fighting over Goodluck and Buharry. These presi-diots will never queue for fuel in their life time.
So let's all face the present realities, we need fuel and in Nigeria it's govt duty to provide fuel

Dude what we had then was fuel scarcity, now it's not scarcity rather we have what I term abnormal increase in fuel price

These cooperate entities are paying for the fuel at whatever exorbitant amount and costing it in their services

Whenever you guys compare OBJ's govt with that of any of these guys I do wonder if you are jokers...
Obj was handed a country that was on the brink of state of emergency, taking over from a perenial rule by overtly destructive military govts.
Obj did a good job by transforming the country in his own way because he had to fix as many crooked situations as possible during his reign. Instead of GEJ to accelerate from that position, he chose to allow grand corruption of the highest order...security, oil n gas, infrastructure, aviation by his closest aids and others.
Obj remains the luckiest of them all unlike others this same Obj courted two American Presidents, Clinton and George Bush who in turn offered him great financial supports. Our debts were forgiven, foreign investors were trooping in and out and many more opportunities as a result of a newly grabbed civilian rule after decades of tyrannical rule of Military interregnum, but what did Aremu do with those golden opportunities? If you ask me nothing reasonable. Trust me, Aremu Obasanjo remains Nigeria's biggest badluck.

I know I didnt wish to be drawn into an arguement with u, let me set the records straight.
Some fuel marketers last week took the blame for the present scarcity even when nnpc has disengaged them. thats a typical case of what u want us to believe.
one of the marketers from the east saved the situation then when he was the only marketer distributing fuel when all others were on strike. and their arrear were amortised before buhari came in.

@Op wetin u dy type self?? I agree with what you mentioned about the last administration and how many companies shut down due to fuel/diesel scarcity but did we force the APC to make promises when they were campaigning?? They promised to give us steady light, pay the unemployed graduates and so on but all we have been hearing is how some set of criminals are being taken to court and they keep postponing their case and our tourist president who has been traveling from one country to the other. As a leader when things go wrong, he's suppose to stay here in Nigeria and seek solution not going about. I've never seen any celebrity or politician in the queue buying fuel, is it that the scarcity isn't affecting them?

There was fuel scarcity every year all through Jonathan's five and half years in office.

Fuel scarcity to hit harder in Lagos
as dealers hoard products
Oil dealers in Lagos and environs
have started hoarding premium

strike embarked upon by the

Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG)

2012

http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/106743-fuel-scarcity-may-continue-till-2013-nnpc-official.html

A top official of the Petroleum Products Pricing
Regulatory Agency has said that the fuel scarcity
being experienced in various states across Nigeria
would continue till the first quarter of 2013 “if
something urgent is not done.”
The official, in an interview, Monday, with the News
Agency of Nigeria in Abuja , said the scarcity would
continue “because the demand for the product has
over-shot supply.”
A PREMIUM TIMES survey showed how marketers
were taking advantage of the fuel scarcity to fleece
Nigerians of billions of naira by selling petrol above
the subsidized pump price in many states, while
inefficient government agencies looked away or gave
excuses.
The official, who did not want his name disclosed,
therefore, called for the total deregulation of the
downstream sector as a way out of the lingering fuel
scarcity sweeping across the country. He said a
multi-phased deregulation process was the only way
out of the scarcity.

Fuel scarcity: NNPC can only supply 50% of Nigeria’s
needs – IPMAN
ON March 12, 2014 12:22 AM / IN News /
Comments
BY CHRIS OCHAYI
ABUJA — THE Independent Petroleum Marketers
Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, yesterday blamed the
lingering nationwide fuel scarcity on the failure of the
Federal Government to pay marketers for petrol imported
into the country in the third and fourth quarters of last
year.
President of IPMAN, Abdulkadir Aminu who disclosed
while addressing members at the expanded meeting of
national executive and zonal coordinators in Abuja, said
also that the current contraction in the supply of the
products is a result of none payment of marketers
subsidy.
Aminu warned that the current fuel scarcity will not
decline because there was a supply gap due to the fact
that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC,
which is now the sole importer of fuel can only supply 50
percent of the country needs.

Mumu, stop your lies, it was not during fuel crises. It was when the government removed subsidy from diesel and the problem never lasted a week. The fuel scarcity during GEJ period was in December 2014 wish was caused by sabotage of people closer to APC to favour there propaganda and GEJ paid the subsidy, it was just for 2 weeks, petrol was never #300 it was sold for #120. Stop fooling people. Is MTN, BANKS, AIRLINES using petrol? Tell PMB to stop flying arround the world, he should come and face this problem. I won't be surprise if you are appointed as S.A. old media tomorrow.
