Stupidity is trying to use isolated cases of fuel scarcity in particular states like Delta, Abuja & Lagos oftentimes occassioned by marketers demand for subsidy payments that does not last more a week or two to this nonsense of three months uninterrupted nationwide fuel scarcity & price hike that nobody, absolutely nobody has been able to explain it's cause to Nigerians. APC supporters should try get small sense. 11 Likes |

There was scarcity but it didn't last up to a month. There was scarcity yet there was power in most places There was scarcity yet the inflation didn't enter double digit There was scarcity yet the minister of petroleum was not as clueless as this one. There was scarcity yet the weather wasn't as harsh as this There was scarcity yet the labour leaders were protesting on per sec but are now dumb 3 Likes |

Seriously, I am beginning to believe that some people are actually paid to come online and defend this lousy government cos I still don't understand how a sane Nigerian would try to justify this current fuel scarcity... So since we have been having fuel scarcity since the time of Abraham(according to OP), we should then give them a standing ovation right? smh for OP 8 Likes |

What kind of madness is this? I keep seeing infantile and moronic attempts at justifying the current effect of the failed leadership of the current government and I wonder whether some people have gone cuckoo! Please did Nigeria start in 2009? Or maybe 1999? What is the justification for these useless comparisons aimed at casting deception on the people as well as forcing them to accept and in fact enjoy the most unhealthy and wicked circumstances possible? In the instances highlighted by the op, did he come out to compare the prices with the administration preceeding Jonathan's? If there were criticisms, were they not made on the basis of the prevailing circumstances at the time? Abagworo you campaigned and voted for change! In all honesty, did u ever imagine the magnitude of this current situation without power and constant fuel scarcity for close to 3 consecutive months now? Did u really envisage the triple increase in price of goods and services in the country at this time? Did u actually expect the wishy washy policy of this govt where they orders that clearly flout the laws and then come back to 'lick their vomit' like unilaterally firing VCs of universities without recourse to proper procedure when some hadn't finished their tenures? Did u ever imagine that the mouthpiece of the President, Femi Adesina would callously tell those of us crying for steady power supply to go and confront the vandals attacking oil pipelines and whatnot? Did u really vote for these?! I am certain your honest and unbiased answer will be unequivocally in the negative. If you are attacked and robbed of 30k for instance, will you relax and rejoice because you have had previous experiences so u are used to being robbed? If u choose to report to the police will your statements start from 2011 to draw all the varying robbery experiences you've had or it will be about to recent one of 30k? So why do u think people affected so negatively should accept the current circumstances because there has been fuel scarcity in Nigeria before? Has it ever been this prolonged? This is governance now! It is no longer campaign so stop this nonsense u and ur cohorts engage in to say one is better than the other. It is natural for people to long for better and more relaxed times when things were cheaper and money had more value! A minimum wage earner doesn't care about all that rubbish comparison. His problem is, pure water is more expensive. His transport fare has jumped from 800 naira per week to about 1300. His garri at 200 per mudu is now 350 and he is naturally pained and angry! He used to pay 1500/month on electricity tariff and could boast of 13 or more hours or power per day but now he's slammed a bill of 5000/month with less than 3hrs per day or sometimes nothing at all and you seriously think he'll start checking if there was a time it was worse and then go to sleep happy? What is bad is bad! Current situation is bad! Worse than ever! Buhari's government is responsible and remains a failure for even letting things degenerate and more so when they fail to deliver on their promises! They cannot be receiving the full perks of office and continue to feed the citizens with half measures and suddenly it is fine just because it is Buhari! Support all you want but please, Igbos are not known for sycophancy. If u cannot call a spade a spade, at least keep quiet rather than attempt to make it look like a tractor! 7 Likes 1 Share |

Some of this people really have no shame!! So even if we had isolated cases of fuel scarcity which never got this bad where then is the change we were promised? Did GEJ compare his "failures" with those of his predecessors like you fools are doing? What sort of reasoning is this for christ's sake!! Buhari is a collosal failure and has no business been in the presidency in any decent society 1 Like |

Re: There Was Fuel Scarcity And Hike In Pms Yearly From 2009 To 2015 by cktheluckyman: 6:13am On Apr 08, 2016 |
blackpanda: Nobody has eve said we have never experienced fuel scarcity before!! We have always experienced fuel scarcity at one time or the other.it has never been this bad!! In the last 10 months of Buhari's regime we have had scarcity for almost six months!! This particular fuel scarcity is the very worst in the annals of the history of this country!! It is now almost 3 months and still counting.I do not think we even had a combined fuel scarcity of up to three months throughout GEJ's regime as the few isolated scarcities we had during his regime save for for the last one last May barely lasted one week at most |
Re: There Was Fuel Scarcity And Hike In Pms Yearly From 2009 To 2015 by Abagworo(m): 6:24am On Apr 08, 2016 |
cktheluckyman: Nigerians do have short memories but it does not justify the situation we have today. I just deemed it necessary to remind those that seem to have forgotten. My list is no way exhaustive and many lasted more than 2 months. However almost throughout the entire 6 years people in Southeast and South south were buying fuel above 100 Naira. 1 Like |

APC zombies and stupidity is just like bread and butter, always trying to justify their incompetence by comparison. Come Oga Op was fuel scarcity as bad as this during the last administration Even in the midst of scarcity during PDP regime, the price was affordable. I laugh because you all now see that governance ain't easy at all, when you clowns were running your mouth during the electioneering campaigns to provide heaven and earth yall never thought of consequence. Now you're faced with reality you are now trying every means to channel your stupidity towards PDP, looking for every stupid means for justification even to the extent that your chieftain foolishly came out to blame the current scarcity on PDP. IBB said it but Nigerians were too naive to understand, "if you mean well for Nigeria vote for GEJ".. In the words of IBB. |

BushidoBlue: There was equally scarcity from January to May 2016 even though FG claimed they reduced pump price to 87 Naira. We only started buying at 87 Naira around July and it lasted for only 2months. |
