No I believe not. You got your visa for birthing. You have a valid visa and can travel anytime within its validity. A 2 week change in your timeline does not neccesstiate an email. Just go with all your doctor's reports. Safe trip

Me I'm begining to think we doth email th embassy a lil bit too much and setting un neccessary preccedents.

Hello Everyone,
Haven't been here since i had my first child in ATlanta in 2013, Am looking at Houston this time, i have a couple of friends around texas but i intend to stay in an apartment as i would be going with my toddler and mum while my husband joins me for delivery.
Few questions?
Which hospital and doctor is the most affordable with good services in Houston Texas.
ideas of a nice Serviced one bedroom apartment in Houston with basic amenities including wifi?
contact Email addresses of above questions?
Which mum is Houston bound for September?

Thank you

Part 4 already? shocked shocked shocked and Happy New month peeps

Hello everyone,
First time post here.. I have tried to read all 4 parts of this looong thread (honestly I couldn't read all)
However I have a few gray areas which I would appreciate clarity on.
1. I intend going to Maryland with my hubby and daughter in July(due in August). I have tried to get correspondence from hospitals/doctors in MD/DC area to no avail even though my sister lives in Virginia but would be moving to Howard county,MD in a few weeks. Anyone who has had recent firsthand experience with any affordable hospitals please help with information
I need a dr correspondence hosp quote as this will form part of the burden of proof we need at the embassy(we are yet to obtain a U.S. Visa)
@biollar1..I see you are also Maryland bound and probably already have correspondence from holy cross? Kindly help with information, I tried to send you a pm but I guess I'm still learning the ropes..
Thanks in anticipation of quick responses, God bless!

Alaska is at the extreme North west of USA. According to Sarah Palin, she can see Russia from her back yard.
Sigh it's only 2hrs from Washington Seattle lol. Y'all need to chill!!! Alaska isn't as bad (regarding the weather and distance ) as you think. I'm only defending it cos I intend to give birth there by Gods grace. Lol

Hi everyone,
Please I would like to ask a question which I think is stupid but I've heard it from 3 different people today and I think I should just ask anyway.
Is it true that you can get PTA from more than one bank?

Yes, as long as your total cumulative for a quarter is not more than $4k.

Your international passport is your ID in a foreign country together with your drivers license if accepted.
So, for anyone to want to acquire a local ID he or she must be looking to enjoy a benefit. Let's not try to be cute with the facts . The question remains ; Why do you need the ID when your passport is available?

No one is trying to be cute anywhere. For the fact that they check your international passport and see that you have a visiting visa and still give you the I. D when you apply means that there's nothing illegal as you are trying to insinuate.

I researched and read the conditions thoroughly before applying and was granted same day.
If there was anything shady about it, I wouldn't come to a public forum to disclose how to obtain the ID.

You re good to go. Its called a Temporary ID which is issued to you legally knowing your status and that's why you re given a 7 months validity.

Note- You will need a resident to stand-in for you with supporting documents that you reside in the stated address.

Thank you o!

See this woman o, who said I know anything about Maryland!

Oya try and google contact details for Dr Akoda, he is part of Dr Chaudry's practice. But you will but be able to change if that is what you intend to do after visa is obtained, he will collect a hefty down payment.

However, the hospital he practices is the cheapest in Maryland I have heard of. I will not mention the name. Go and do your research. Maryland is expensive territory.
Better hurry and pick the names before JW raptures it.

If it's not a sticky situation, quickly get on healthgrades & use location/ review to decide on one (most people here don't go around there, from info gleaned here the DMV area health facilities cost an arm, a leg, a kidney & both eyes) but if it's an EMERGENCY go ahead & dial 911..

Let's save life first, cost counting can come later, ALL THE BEST.
