At What Age Do You Think Parents Should Allow Their Children Some Privacy by Sookul: 11:21am On Apr 08, 2016 |
One of our neighbors was spanking his 15 year-old daughter this morning for refusing him entrance into their bedroom while dressing up. The wife was shouting at him which drew some attention to the scene. The man claimed that he needed something urgent from the room and that was not his first time of warning the daughter of such. The wife was against the man as it usually will be in such case. Nawao, don't even know what to think.... 2 Likes |

Hmmmm Not just the men. Both parents should stop seeing their children privacy from the moment they started attaching importance to it. 1 Like |

mtch...wetin concern nigerian parents concern privacy?... if dem born una well, juz lock ur room door...u go knw say death get younger broda.... on a serious note, nigerian folks need to b enlightened on this issue, if ur female pikin don dey sprout bobby, give am privacy, and if u notice signs of puberty in ur male child, he needs some space... but nigerian parents.....they wont listen!!! 1 Like |

Sookul: the minute a person doesnt feel comfortable any longer then they tell it to their parent, and everyone would be aware. thats also the reason why there needs to be healthy communication between parents and their offsprings |

In reality most children can't tell their parents such to their face, especially their fathers MRBrownJ: |

Sookul: again, children that have an healthy r/ship with their parents would tell whichever parent they are closer.... so girls would certainly tell their mothers. of course, if there aint heathy communication between parents and children then that would be difficult. the important question is:"what kind of deluded parents dont sit down and talk with their kids?" |
