Could any please tell me probable reason for profile being shown as ineligible.
Do I need to create separate profile again and apply.
Is it mandatory to register in job bank and then submit EE profile. ?
I am also not able to update the form. Can I update my profile linked to the application or I need to create new profile and then apply. ?

I don't see any reasons why your profile is ineligible. However, are you sure you put the right amount of fund?

You will have to create a new profile as you cannot amend a profile deemed ineligible.

It is after submitting your EE profile, that you will be sent a link to register for job bank.

Thanks for the quick response. Just a couple of info.

1. We have only done ECA for our masters degree (we didn't include any other academic profile when filling the EE apart from the masters) Is it compulsory to put secondary school and first degree details ) ?

2. I put $15,000 for PoF, instead of $15,413 - ( I'm suspecting this could be the reason)

The Federal skill trade visa class is for skilled trade applicants but it seems you must be in Canada practicing your trade before you can I apply in that category.I guess your skill fall under NOC C or D therefore you can't apply via EE or CEC class.

Your chance of applying is the same for everyone who has been able to migrate there. You start with 2 things, writing IELTS and evaluating your qualifications(which I may suggest you bother only about your MPA), you can do this by having your credential sent to WES(world educational service, search for WES Canada and click on Credential Evaluation for CIC purpose, it will tell you the amount you will pay and how to register and the documents you are to send to them). It's imperative you score, infact aim at scoring all available marks in the IELTS General Training. Also, you need to find the equivalent of the profession you had work experience in, in Canada. Google NOC 2011, click on the link after you have seen it from the search result and then type a key word relating to your profession in the search facility of the website(it's the website that lists all occupations in Canada and you are just looking for the equivalent of your own). When you have both IELTS and ECA(Educational Credential Evaluation) and you have been able to find the equivalent of your occupation in Canada, you are then ready to apply. Express Entry (EE) is a completely electronic process through which applicants apply for Permanent Residence (PR) in Canada.

Permanent residency status means you can stay indefinitely in Canada so long as you do not commit any serious crime that might warrant your return to wherever you came from.

I don't it matters whether they evaluate it as Bachelor of Laws or a Bachelor's degree.

The most important point here is that it is a professional degree and so the required points would apply.

Reference the definition from CIC as follows:

Master's degree, OR professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession (For “professional degree,” the degree program must have been in: medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, optometry, law, chiropractic medicine, or pharmacy

And yes, they are accredited by CIC.

yeah they evaluate it as first professional university degree. which is better than the ambiguity that trails WES' evaluation of law degrees
google detailed evaluation criteria federal republic of Nigeria IQAS, a pdf doc will show....read from page 23 i think. just that like Chima said it takes ages to complete . infact slowlybutsurely says it takes about a year....so its useless to try them. well i dont want to be bothered by this thing again o
