ogmaskman: I'm not partisan. I criticised Jonathan's regime for the freedom he granted corruption. But when APC came with change. Musicminista:pls pmb is not judiciary and this is not a military regime. there is no case yet discharged so what do you mean by who has been sent to prison? till there is either conviction or acquittal, you can claim the move is wrong or right. have you followed Metuh's case? efcc job is done but his lawyer refuses to open a defence, what is your advice in such instance? |

TINUBU HAS NO CASE TO ANSWER It is a known fact that when a man is in trouble or is enjoying financial independence; are the two best times to measure the strength of his character. Someone came up recently with some foreign account numbers, all set in fine graphics and labeling them to Chief Tinubu as the account holder / signatory to every single one of them. The desperation that orchestrated the entire article reminds me of the grasping hand of a drowning man. Who though drowning is not desperate to be saved but desperate to drag anyone especially helpers down into the abyss of their predicament. The published account number article on nairaland simply tells us that we can publish any account number or sets of numbers, scribble peoples names to it and beckon unto people minding their business to go and write petitions. Tinubu has had his trial! let those who are yet to have there's or are facing theirs, face theirs. When Tinubu was pulled to the CCT did he point fingers? Knowing fully well that the then government of the day had a few corrupt elements. He faced the music alone. Just for the record I leave you with the closing statements of the last CCT trial that put a lid to the boring account number publishers such as this recent one. "No proof of evidence was attached to the amended charge or summary of affidavit evidence. How on earth will the tribunal determine whether a prima facie case has been established against the accused person? "The amended charge did not adduce evidence that the accused has been operating the foreign accounts by proxies or trustees but that he personally operates the accounts. It is the law that the arguments of counsel no matter how brilliant cannot take the place of pleadings. In the circumstances, I hold that no prima facie case has been made against the accused person. Musicminista: Saraki alone went to court with 80 lawyers (SANs). We are looking at the political will to act. Curruption as you know will fight back. It will not folds it s arm and eat h you slaughter it. The fight has begun lets give it the necessary support and not to be crying selective this selective that. If the last administration had anything on ground this admin would have built on it. Government is a continuum. On other aspects of the economy I think we are abit too hasty to conclude. Alot of misadventures had happened over the years that will need some time to uproot. I feel we are too hard on this govt because we do not want to experience hardship. No gain without pain bro. Jonathan was voted out because of the direction the economy was headed even though they made us to believe otherwise. Things would have been worse if Jonathan had continued. it was a matter of time the economy will crash like a pack of cards. The Nigerian economy was living on borrowed time Like perfume over shiit. I wonder how some people reason. On one hand you want the president to allow the independence of the judiciary, on the other hand you accuse him of taking the function of the judiciary. Some people are just are crudly bereft of reasoning 2. @Musicminista, I wonder what definition of corruption you're looking for? Is it when Tinubu is arrested and only for the government to get embarrassed at the courts for want of evidence? I believe that if anyone cannot draw a clear line of corruption to the people currently under prosecution, then that person is not only corrupt but of depraved mind |

I think some people are just plain moronic. Someone goes on Corel Draw or Paint Picture software, mixes colour background, types random number and append Tinubu's name on the numbers as his foreign account, and people are ridiculously pointing to that as evidence? Even if the OP is damn silly, must you submit yourself to the OPs inadequacies? |
