The guys @ United are producing lower than the sum of their individual abilities (both players sold & those retained). LvG has a good collection, I say this everywhere - he's just a mor0n, an asswipe & anomaly in & around Old Trafford. With every extra time he's gotten to amend some very basic stuff he's done something worse, going from dumb to dumber still. The players injured don't bother about returns cuz they are not feeling his robotics. I read interviews from Nani, di Maria & Rafael. It's really depressing, I can't wait for the season to be over so long as it's the end of the man as manager.

am beginning to see martial more as a left forward that a striker sef he may not transition so easily to that center forward role.

McNair has potentials. But he mostly did better when he was paired with Rojo at the beginning of the season. But as the season wore on, it was evident that Jones and Smalling were our best pairing as we went on a long unbeaten run. Carrick, Jones and Young couldn't start against Chelsea due to injuries and we lost three in a row. McNair and Blind were exposed in those three games. It was Jones returned that we again gained stability at the back.

Mensah is different from McNair and Darmian because of his aerial ability, tackling, and raw physical strength like that of Zouma or Vidic. He has an added advantage, he has got the speed of a sprinter.

mcnair dat I watched is calm cool and composed as u said. he does his defending job well but he wouldnt take any chance of dribbling or moving into available space. check out how rojo plays the left back position and how evra played during his time. rojo will defend well while not really minding to take risks of getting too much involved in attack. but evra will defend well and at the same time still be found making crazy runs into the opponent's box 18.

@bolded that's what I'm talking about. He was cool on the ball and defended well. He only had to improve from there. There was a time Smalling gets jittery whenever he's with the ball in the half-line. He seems to be upping his game and overcoming that fear.

You can't compare Rojo and Evra with McNair. Haba.
