Believe me, what you need is instagram. You go see clothes and styles tire.
Follow clothing stores, if money is not an issue, buy from them, many of them sell really nice clothes from UK and turkey at affordable prices and they do 30%-50% off sales frequently when they want to buy new stock.
They include @debrasgrace, @pathos101, @andriasworld, @dtboutique9ja, @buddingblue, @24diamondss, @poshrawyaltyboutique (she sells China too sha), @audacioufashioncollection and so on. Even if you are not in lagos, they will deliver to you. And they all use models, giving you an idea of how the clothes will look on you. Even if they are out of your budget, you will surely get ideas from them that can aid you when you go to the market.

Follow wedding handles too like weddingguest, weddingdigestnaija, nigerianwedding. Also follow handles like asoebibella, featuring guests at parties, ms_asoebi and lots more. Once you start you will start seeing various fashionable handles to follow.

As for your baby, buy her cute dresses, tops and trousers. Girls are fun to dress up, put headbands on her, pack her hair well. And importantly, pay attention to color coordination. As much as it is nice for them to look bright and colorful, don't overdo it, too many colors at once. You can download colour wheels from the Internet to be sure of what goes with what. Even on that same instagram, there are handles for kids fashion like Fashionforchurch. Let me stop here, lol, don't mind me o, instagram na my playground. grin

First, it means you can google.
You can also instagram.
Use images whenever you google ie type the words and when suggestions come up, click on images.

There is nothing wrong with ok. As long as you are not buying overly slack or worn out or torn ones.
Ok jeans is the baddest there is.
Ankara can sew eye catching styles. You may need to change your tailor though.

Ok, first off, which Desperate Housewife will u like to morph into?
- Fashionista Gabriella ( make up: on point, glam jewelry, skinny clothes, killer heels). This might be too much for you tho.
- Stuffy Bree ( minimal make up, Deaconess clothes, minimal but classy jewelry). This shii is boring! Classy but boring!
- Mommystic Lynette (functional clothes, functional hair, no makeup, functional shoes). You cant pull this off if you have never been a fab dresser before. Instead of looking functional and effortless, you will look slobby and lazy.
- Disjointed Susan ( casual wears, casual shoes, casual jewelry, good hair, good make up). This is what I want for you to start with, buh the choice is yours.

@glammama do you know being a fashionista is not about what you wear, but how you wear it? It's an expensive ride too cos trendy stuffs are pricey.

I don't have all the clothes in world but when I knack my small combo, you go think say I haff arrived grin

2 things I know that gives an overall rating of your fashion sense is SHOES & BAGS! wink

invest in them.

Shop QUALITY!, I would rather buy 1 expensive pair of shoe than 10 cheap pairs.

Jewelry, (casual) with a beautiful small earrings, your neck can still be bare & beautiful. For natives/events(You need the statement accessories).

Focus on your choice of interest, for me, I love Shoes (flats & block heels), Bags, cologne & HAIR(you can never find me on a messy hairdo. My hair is more than a crown to me. Even at 34weeks+, I still make beautiful hairdos) With this my 3 combo, I swear you wouldn't look twice at my cloth choice.

Change your skincare regimen - Yes, this is also part of it. Change your makeup kit, invest in new makeup/skincare products, enhance your looks. My sonographer looked at me today and said 'Madam na belle you carry the preggy, No be for face cheesy

, Yes o, belle can not comman turn me to a granny! Everything must be on Fleek! cheesy

Carriage is one important thing you shouldn't miss, that confidence you radiate from within.

Clothes : My choice of clothes starts with the colors(I wear only colors that complements figure & skintone. If my choice of top is loud, my lower outfit, shoe and bag must calm it. Don't work with too many colors.

Go on Instagram, 9ja fashion blogs, there a loads of fashion icons to follow.
Remember, You can't turn a fashionista in one day, we are all learning. wink

Lollll, serious works ooooooo, I'm interested in this too, in fact I love fashion, i buy good n quality stuffs but I don't have the mind to carry all d dressing up waka about lolllll. Hubby self is not even helping issues , his own is to wear uniform to work mon-Friday, morning till night n weekends a jean and a top finish, in fact me n hubby needs makeover grin

You can download Instagram from your app world, it's not available to blackberry users though. And it's not a fashion app, it's a social media app just like facebook (they are actually owned by the same person). Register and start following people...Instagram is mainly about posting pictures.

Hey mama, take it easy. Your hubby knows you before you got married. First thing you should know and am sure something made him say yes I love this lady and want her in my life, not your dress sense definitely, so chill.

Now on the issue, I personally don't believe in being half nude and being indecent in dressing. I got married as an SU (just painting my pics), my hubby is not one but believed in being descent. However, I dress very cute, I choose the best tailor to sew my natives ( I go for the high class tailors), I even most times shop online and have them shipped down to Nigeria, my bags also are not cheapies (sorry am not proud), you know if I don't spend on jewelries and all the brazelian wigs I should spend on cloths bags and shoes to make me look cute. So I never allowed my hubby to complain one day, even my inlaws who are fashion people atimes come to ask for some of my cloths.

How do you improve?

Browse on latest styles (decent ones though).
Check online for best colours to match.
Choose good tailors to make your native attires and not all should be long skirt, buba n wrapper.
Make them fitted. don't ask your tailor to make it big should you get bigger. However make sure all allowances for the cloth are held inward (to create space for amendment where there is need).
Have different colours of bags. Don't be carrying one black bag that fit all cloths.
Different shoes and of good quality.

Hey, fashion is not expensive, all you need is to jasi.

Not all good quality cloths are expensive, go to the right market and have them mixed up. Also, admire friends, colleagues and ask where they get their good stuffs. Don't be conviteous or go the extra mile your income is not capable of ooo.

My motto for dressing is: Dress to please God, when you do that, your hubby will definitely be pleased.

I laugh reading your questions. Do you know some people use weavon and looks like masquerade in it? This most times happen when they don't choose the best stylist.

For baby outfits, go online, in church atimes I look out for how mothers dress for their kids and I register it in my head.
