I am a bit stumped as to whether he can use these statements seeing as I don't work for him and my trip is of no benefit to his company.    For those of you who often wonder and ask "How Invitation Letter Should Look Like" I've decided to create this thread with some (self composed) samples of Letters Of Invitation.
   Know that there is no standard composition or grammars required, but yet, the letter must include the basic guidelines essential to sufficiently Identify, Introduce, Describe, Persuade and Guarantee on both parties.
   Also, it is important to know who the appropriate person to receive the invitation letter is: I'm making this emphasis because, a lot of people often make serious mistakes and are ignorantly sending Invitation Letters directly to Embassies or ECOs, and such letters usually fall short of their objectives as they are often unaccounted for. So, to make it further clear, the Invitation Letter (along with other supporting documents, if any) should be submitted by the Visa Applicant while addressed to the ECO.
   Now, there's no need to write a story or an essay, these are examples of how Invitation Letter may be like:

Is it possible to write a letter of accommodation for my biological when i am not inviting him. He just renewed his South Africa visa and wish to visit me in Ireland and then head to South Africa and back to lagos. He's working full time and has enough money to sponsor himself, but i and him concluded he shouldn't use hotel reservation because there is an option in the online application form where he will be asked if he know anyone here and there is no reason why he should lie by saying no, so he need to say yes, which is me, but i i'm not inviting him because i am not in a position to sponsor him. I am not working at the moment, but is it okay for me to offer him only accommodation letter with copy of my residency?

You have to invite him for him to stay in your property (whether rented or owned), he would be refused without invitation as it not logical for him to stay in your property without invitation.
Note that invitation does not mean that you have to be financially responsible for him, it just means that you are consenting to accountability for coming into the country: it is allowed to invite a person without letting him stay in your property, but it is illogical to let a person stay in your property without invitation: he would be refused.

But my fear is they will see it on his application form that he claim he know someone in Ireland and our surname will definitely match. Not sure if he can use hotel and at the same time claim he know someone here, but won't they say why can't he stay with the person he claim he know?

In my previous reply, i went further to explain the scenarios, even answering this (follow-up) question in advance.
Well, if you are not inviting him, then, he can not officially state that he is staying with you.
Now, the fact that he has a relative in Ireland does not mean that he must stay with the relative: it is allowed for him to stay in a hotel or any where else. If you care so much abut him staying in your property, then, let him stay unofficially.
