I have seen many pictures of Boko Haram members and they all have some things in common: dirty, emaciated bodies with rags as clothes.

Yes, those fresh/robust girls might be the Chibok girls but they are definitely not in Sambisa forest.

I suggest they are searched for in Emirs' palaces.

So after all those bombings and beheading of innocent people they think of negotiating to stay alive and free, anyway only a fool will negotiate with them, as for me I believe in total annihilation of bokoharam and all their sponsors .that video and phone call are all the same as missing chibok girls, all are fake.

Hmmm, you need to have listened to CNN's coverage of the ish... I can't forget what the Host said, he asked hi colleague "if this same thing happened in any other country would we still be talking about it two years after?" No

It's comment like this that ridicules Nigeria.

I saw the video and felt something was wrong with the time of recording claimed by the CNN reporters. The video was said to have been shot on 25th of Dec 2015 and that's almost two years after the girls were kidnapped and there seemed to be no reasonable change in their appearance. That's odd.
I don't doubt that OUR girls were kidnapped, but I doubt the date of that video. The video was probably shot a long time ago and awaiting d best time of release where it will gather the most negative sentiments against the government.

It does not matter. This government is already on the hot seat. The Chibok girls were not the only ones kidnapped....hundreds of girls have been kidnapped since this conflict began. So...nothing is special about the Chibok issue...it is jsut one of thousands.

We have a lot of work to do in this country combating the scourge of tribalism, bigotry, and underdevelopment that caused Boko Haram to grow.We must get to work...rather than blame other people.

(P.S...As for there being no change in their appearance....ever heard of bargaining chips.?Boko wants something in return for the girls...so if the girls look emaciated,or worse....no deal)

from d day I saw d report on some if d chibok girls calling their parents, I knew something fishy was going on. how can d kidnapped girls still have access to their phones after 2 years of staying with a terrorist group? plus how come d calls came in about d time d incidence became 2 years? wat manner of coincidence? something really fishy is going on n I think d govt is not really sincere.
And how could they even remember the numbers, with the bombs and all that the parents didn't change lines in the course of it? Something is really fishy.

The truth is coming out gradually

First it was "one of kidnapped chibok girls call her father" haba shocked, so she's still using the same phone number?
And nobody has ever called the number since the day she was kidnap? Including her parents?
And the kidnappers also allow her to keep the phone with her(for good two years)
And who recharge her phone to call her father?

Now, new video show well feed and neat children as "kidnapped chibok girls

You mean those Boko Haram members that always look sick (according to the pictures we are seeing on net and papers) will be able to take care of those children?

My prayer is
By the power that created the world
Any Propaganda that APC (All Past Criminals) use against Jonathan (to remove him) will surely work against them

Right now in Mexico....43 students have been dead for over a year...and people still talk about it.

And in the US....there are dozens of missing children...to say nothing of the crisis between the Police and black people.

Every country has its warts. It is how we deal with these warts that sets the men apart from the boys. We can blame external sources and propaganda...or we can work on solutions. Like getting our police force properly equipped, ending corruption in the legal system, ending poverty, ending tribal and religious bigotry, becoming a manufacturing society...so that jobs are created, and people have something to do with their hands, and making sure our leaders do the jobs they are paid for.

Staggering how many Nairalanders cannot read or comprehend simple English.

The army is not saying it is propaganda on the part of CNN or APC. The spokesman is saying it is propaganda on the part of Boko Haram to use the girls as leverage against Nigeria.

Simple text, but the wailers are struggling to comprehend, as usual.

I disagree with ur last point, if those girls looks thin, as tiny as skeleton, d govt will still bargain if it wants to. that is y it is called rescue mission, kidnapped victims aren't expected to be in good condition, all that is needed is a proof of life.

On "bargaining chips" my point exactly, this video might have been shot 2 years ago as a perfect bargaining chip when the time is right. That been said, it does not take away any pound of responsibility from the government to do all it can to get those girls home. I sometimes refer the lack of yield of positive results in efforts made by the FG in securing the Chibok girls a blessing somehow (sorry if that sounds insensitive) but if they had been found we might never here of the 2k+ people rescued recently and I can't help but feel efforts in combating these terrorists might reduce once we secure OUR girls. Most ppl don't complete their dose once they start feeling better from an ailment

It's not jus fishy ooo, they're selling beef too to the gullible ones. Coincidentally none of d lines were blocked during the sim re-registration and all d parents called were charging their fones somewhere else at d times of the call... I have a feeling we're about to reach the climax of d whole drama so d need for some new twist to thicken the plot and reawaken interests.

hummmm! people like u are d reason am still coming to Nairaland. I love logic n deep thinking, not sentiment n trivialities that is driving a great number of people.
network providers disconnected lines massively twice recently, some that escaped it last year had to re-register this year. maybe there were registration centers in sambisa forest lol

I was thinking maybe the girls told the terrorist the night they came to abduct them..."wait Mr terrorist, let me carry my bold 10 along". Truth will come out someday.

I had to re-register my line twice, dats after the initial registration already. Mayb there was a ceasefire so dat lines could b registered in sambisa over dat period. D whole story jus kips looking silly with each new twist. We all know if u don't recharge ur lines over a period of time, d line gets deactivated even so it is safe to say dey've been using their lines all dis while as well.

. My brother these girls are still calling their parents with their Mtn, glo Airtel & etisalat lines , meaning they are in Nigeria and nobody even these network operators can locate them. This is beyond ousting Gej

My thinking is these students remembered to take their phones along when they are being kidnapped
And the phone is still kept with them and it's been recharged for the past 2 years
Something is fishy here it's only the gullible that will believe this story.
Please God deal with enemies of this country with your wrath and anger
