Here's how it works. A company imports original accessories and sends them to their stores. Sharp minded workers buy fake accessories from outside and replace the original ones with the fake ones and then sell the original as "follow come" to 3rd parties. It's not like the workers sell their own personal stuff. They just replace.

Bt let me speak wit him to see what he can do, bt nxt time u shd create awareness dat'll call d attention of all d customers in d branch to notice dat wat dey sell there is fake, u'll see dat d manager will come out to attend to u. Dats wat i did @ ikeja concerning ma innjoo fire dat i bought there, about 70% customers went out of there dat day and i was attended to later by the manager.

Same thing happened to me, in Benin, their Ekenwan store about a month ago. When I noticed and complained to them, they gave the excuse that there is no warranty on accessories. Till now I am still angry, I most definitely would never patronise slot again.

I have never patronised Slot because i always felt their prices were overly inflated maybe due to their so called branding, same as jumia also. I get phones frm 3C Hub ikeja and they have never disapointed, even their prices are very reasonable compared to slot, jumia and co.

Slot is the most useless place to buy phone. This is what happened to my brother some years back. He bought a curve 4 from slot. When he got home, the phone started getting very hot. So hot that it could fry plantain. The next thing it went off. It came on later but it was still very hot. My brother went back the next day, they changed the phone for him but they put the old phone back into the pack. Arranged it very well for Another unlucky customer that would come and buy it! Since then my brother never went back to slot.

I am now selling phones, one of the companies in my group of companies is partnering with Nokia and BB and Samsung.

Dey sell fake products honestly. Av bought a blackberry bold battery onces before for #2,500 in the year 2014 and it was totally fake. Latter in the same year I went to d omo Ibos to purchase another one for #800 and it is working fine up till now.

I think it was high time Slot reviewed its procedures and try as much as possible to contain the challenge of expansion especially in the area of recruiting and training their staff. This is because as I also write now there is an Engineer in the Abule Egba Branch of Slot named Chibuzor who has not only broken the glass of my Blackberry Z3 phone taken there for repairs but has also vandalized the phone (He was telling me the phone stopped working) after paying the 8,000 Naira out of the 10,000 Naira I have paid and he was telling me to forget both the money and the phone. The receipt for the repairs is still with my wife.

@OP, so sorry u went through all this. Plz check and confirm its not the charging port of ur infinix. I had similar problem with my infinix hot note some months ago and i was made to understand that it's a major problem wt some infinix fones especially the hot note. Its a problem wt the flex on d charging port. The fone will stop charging fast; sometimes takes 8hrs to be fully charged. Sometimes it discharges while charging too. After some weeks of usage like that, it will not charge at all. I took mine to carlcare, it was repaired but the problem resurfaced again after about two months. This time around i took it to an engineer at slot and it was repaired but was discharging instead of charging. The engineer told me its the mother board and they av alot of fones wt that issue but no solution for now. I av condemned my fone and purchased another one.

N. B. ORAIMO is d company that produces accessories for infinix and tecno. That charger is original, its not produced by infinix but rather produced by oraimo for infinix company.
