Jadekitana: I come and go as I please when office schedule allows me, mostly for fun! I see you know who it is behind the moniker you quoted last. Nice sense of observation. Another plus. |

naijaboiy: Lol. Okay then. As the Queen maker your support and that of Kelvingraphics will go a long way for her or any of your preferred candidate. Mesef dey search for candidate, the verified contestants should entice us with cartons of alomo as a payola for our votes. The money at stake no be small dough. I need a share from Merrybet prize fund o. |
Re: Miss Nairaland Contest 2016 - Nomination & Verification Thread by Nobody: 10:08pm On Apr 15, 2016 |
naijaboiy: That's not true. It would be front page material and thousands of other Nairalanders that have not been suffused with lobbying would vote on the chassis of objectivity. naijaboiy: Your strings cannot pull more than 100 people - and that's if you are have a very enthusiastic campaign manager. There's likely to be an essay competition and Q & A segment - all of which would carry points. So, if a candidate relies solely on her "expo" and doesn't give it her all in the other facets, I doubt she'd make it above waterline. naijaboiy: I hate to be a büzzkill but those chicks have got a different thing coming for them. Nonpartisan and highly intelligent judges would be appointed for the Q & A segment so that winning on the basis of popularity can be shorted to the barest minimum. 1 Like |

JoeBlocks:If you are really conversant with this contest and if at all you have fully participated in rooting for someone, you will know that banning of monikers is a normal thing for campaigners so they create many alternate for the sole purpose of campaigning and nothing else. They can't use it to vote because it wouldn't even tally with the date stated for eligible voters. Secondly, the alternate moniker was used during the miss NL contest which came before the male contest and I had stopped using it by then. JoeBlocks:My dear friend, as at 2014 you were no where to be found as an active member of romance section. I still remember very clearly most of the monikers who were very active then. Sexuality section was your bane, you were probably more like a visitor on this section not until of recent. So when I say most romancelanders, I am not referring to people like you who were not seen, I meant those who were actually active. JoeBlocks:From this statement of yours it's very obvious you did not understand a word of what I typed up there. The alternate moniker was mine but I was not the one who used it, simply because I gave it to the other guy to use for "campaign" as he stated. As in I gave him my password for the alternate. What is so difficult in understanding that? SIGH! You've just proved to me that you're just like the others. They only choose what they want to believe irrespective of what is explained on the table. You're the first person i'm granting the honour to explain everything that happened since that event, but my reason for doing that is totally wrong. I can't believe I just wasted my time explaining something that happened two years ago and yet, someone still thinks otherwise. Damn! 1 Like |
