u criticize others for judgement without merit and then commit the same offence by assuming that ebonyi is better than bayelsa ekiti and gombe without physically being there. dey deceive urself. smh.
may be u didn't read the path where l mentioned being to ado Ekiti n yenagoa,

btw when l said some people lack merit in judgement l was referring to those who are comparing ebonyi with Lagos,Enugu, akwa ibom Owerri etc instead of her mates Ekiti, bayelsa n co

I'm from Ebonyi and I'm proud of my state.. Though I've not gone back home for the past 3 years but I know that we are far better than Ado Ekiti, Oshogbo, Yenogoa, gombe, Gusau, Damaturu, etcetera..

You showed lower Water Works Road, a part of Onwe/Ezza Roads and New Market road. Just four streets and said you've done photojournalism. The pictures degraded Abakaliki the more.

hello NL. I saw a thread on Governor Dave's road works in Ebonyi state by viviangist and i must say she did a crappy job in the reportage as a blogger that she is. well, i don't know if she is trying to paint a right picture of what obtains or the other way round.

see thread here https://www.nairaland.com/3049828/dave-umahi-constructing-roads-re-branding/1#3049828.52

I therefore decided to embark on a photo journalism of the state capital and i will be uploading pictures here of what really obtains here.

legooo!

thanks bro, they don't even know that our Abakaliki is one of the most beautiful cities in this Naija

Ask ur self when the state was created, it's monthly allocation and when last you visited the place.. Coupled with how many millionaires are there that can actually contribute to the development of the state without depending on int revenue and federal allocation

hi haters. this thread is meant to be long term, so it's utterly foolish ranting here when i haven't even done 2% of the job. and if you can't bear it, please hit the exit.

It's quite pathetic that someone will look at pictures and draw conclusion from them without knowing the bus route to this place. I spent my service year in thus town and I'd tell you categorically that you can take one ride in a tricycle from one end of the town to the other (CASS - Presco) and (Rice mill - Kpirikpiri).

Those roads that OP showed though we're very good during the tenure of Martin Elechi (Ochi-Udo). Terrible roads that existed during my stay were;
1. Rice mill road
2. Afikpo road from sperando
3. Enugu road.

NB: I served in 2012
you need to revisit abakaliki, a lot of work has been done between may last year and now, elechis mission was to expand abakaliki which he succeeded to an extent by carrying international market n secreterat to that far place and relocating rice mill n timber shade, now l can tell u that development is rushing to those places

those place you mentioned that were bad during ur service year have all been fixed n marked with functional street lights by Dave Umahi..

Truth be told Dave has tried in beautifying abakaliki

Very pathetic that ebonyi only has a double Lane (sub standard) " To be honest ebonyi is suppose to be a LGA. Most of the cute structures are banks. The others are government buildings. That's bungalow u see in d the 3rd pics is the government house, it's so local, poor finishing but we'll painted

Am not boasting here but my village is far better of, at least we have 4 lanes in my village. Solar Street lights everywhere and portable drinking water 247.

Please Am not trying to critize just making a point so the government and work harder

Your write up would have had a base if you went further to tell us your village. Since you didn't, Abakaliki, to me, is way above it.
