Perhaps after reading this, you will come to the conclusion that I am being irrationally paranoid. If so, you are probably spending way too much time plugged in to the “propaganda matrix” that I will describe in this article. The government wants you to believe that everything is going to be just fine and that the best days for this country are ahead. http://www.punchng.com/buhari-might-be-the-last-president-of-nigeria/ 46 Likes 10 Shares

Nigeria will remain ONE for a very long time to come. Southerners have learnt to not just embrace their servitude but cherish it. Cowardice has conditioned their DNA. Peace at any cost is their mantra. 27 Likes 7 Shares |

That's what you get when you don't choose your partner wisely, this is the case with the false forced marriage called Nigeria, wrong choice of partner, I'm sure they didn't date before finally deciding to tie the knots reason why the importance of courtship cannot be overemphasized. Were they actually pressured into this union (marriage) by their parents (Brits) for some unjustified selfish reasons. Who is even the man and who are the wives (hausa, igbo, yoruba, etc), its quite obvious that the disadvantages of this marriage far outweighs its advantages. A divorce looks like the best option right now. End this marriage for goodness sake 57 Likes 10 Shares |

The Op speaks the truth. Only true federalism can make this contraption called Nigeria to continue to exist. Those who are vehemently opposed to the recommendations of the last national confrence and would not convoke their own either, are the same people dividing the people along ethnic and religious lines. The mutual suspicion is so eloquent. A northern muslim would readily avail help to a chadian muslim than to a northern christain! And now they want to infiltrate other peoples territory in the guise of grazing reserve but with jihad on their minds and their ultimate goal. Will the rest of the people sit and just watch and do nothing? Noooooo!!!!! We may be in the last days! 36 Likes 7 Shares |

tolexy007:It all started with General Buhari's 95%-5% statement, it was a devastating blow to the unity of the country and mysteriously the folks seeking for a united nigeria are the ones who supported that statement the most. Well nigeria expired in 2014 according to the amalgamation agreement, so currently the country is on auto-pilot while buhari gathers the final pieces to the disintegration of the country. Its obvious the south would not tolerate his cattle rearing jihadist even with the backing of the FG 41 Likes 8 Shares |

All these people in one country, really? You only need to read the comments on this thread to know just why we have stagnated as a nation. The youths are an accessory to holding this country at bay! Who do the politicians use to kill other youths? The youth! Who do the politicians use to terminate well meaning opposition figures who could have changed things? The youths? Who would rather be handed everything else than work? Most youths! I can go on and on and yet not emphasise this enough. But to reiterate my position on this subject; It is important to note that for the good of people and for sake of posterity, Nigeria is better off as one country. Reasons Nigeria's problem has always been a systemic one. The youths have had their rights stolen, most never even had any to be honest. You may break Nigeria into 6 different countries, it still won't change your crop of leaders--the real problem. They have become almost like an institution, the embodiment of a corrupt system and an emblem of injustice. They abound in all regions. In functional systems, no one is told to mind their place, but that their place is as high as they can get. It makes people ambitious and gives a sense of responsibility from a young age already. With these people, even if you had your own country, you would only have succeeded in enthroning regional subjugators. The only difference will be country's name, logo and motto. Now, before you accuse me, first look to your Local Government Chairman who has never lived outside of your region before, how different is he from the rest? Sh*t has eaten deep into the fabrics of the society at all levels. What we have in Nigeria are dream killers, witches and snitches who would rather that you view education as a privilege than a right because they wouldn't want you competing on equal footing with their kids in the future. For posterity's sake, a small country can only grow so much. Today, south Korea is developed but cannot grow much further because it's a small country, same as Canada. This has caused India and Brazil to be closing in faster on them in terms of even Nominal GDP. We need all these lands for the sake of generations unborn, they'll need it even more. The Game of Numbers. We have a large population with a majority in the youth brackets. This has played in our favour and would continue to do so. Or why else do you think the West pits us against each other at every turn? The wanna beat down that power. So much is wrong with Nigeria, but we could suffer worse should we turn against each other. There's strength in numbers. 23 Likes 8 Shares |

Yes you are irrationally paranoid and yes they predicted it but NO it won't happen , the best time for that would have been the civil war period. 1 Like |

That is nonsense, but let me ask, if per adventure Nigeria distingrate as predicted, who is going to lose? Only wailers. North is the basketmouth of the nation, south west the commercial nerve of the nation, south south also with their oil. Then tell me a single thing the south east will hold unto. Don't let me deceive u, if south east think they want to go because of south south oil, there will be war because south south are also wise now. They know the antics of south east, so will never give in to any amalgamation. It will be sweet if everyone maintain his fathers name but I still believe in entity called Nigeria. 10 Likes 1 Share |
