Mine is 750 dollars monthly 3 bedrooms all ensuite and a large sitting room with 2 balconys and nice setrings. I never are bills oo. Honestly competition, the wife you marry, the kind of friends you keep abroad and comfort has made most of us spend fortunes here while most of us dont even have bicycle back home. Now that cash is not flowing worldwide like before our eyes don open but naija news is not helping matters at the moment. I invested over 40k dollars in transport bussiness 2 years ago as i am talking to you i have sold almost all the vehicles cuz of bad management. Still, theres no place like home

3bedroom is quite huge. You should consider sharing and splitting cost, except you have your family (wife and kids) with you.

Meanwhile, I'm interested in knowing what city you live in and what you do (job) because that's what huge budget ($9k/year or 2.7m) for accommodation only.

Most investors who are absent of their investment rarely make appreciable turnover because no one is a better manager or bearer of the vision than the investor himself. A little deviation may be in real estate management, still you must visit quarterly after all no place like home.

I'm jealous of all my Naija peeps the majority of rent prices except for Abuja and parts of Lagos are quite good. Although when you factor in salary sizes it's not so good.

My rent in London excluding council tax is £1400 per month x 12 months = £16,800 per year. In Naira @ N420 = £1 means my own rent is over 7 Million Naira per year. Bear in mind I live in a normal middle class area. If I lived in central London you will have to multiple this by at least 4 times.

People in Calabasas and Los Angeles pay $2,000 per month

Wow. The take home I'm sure accommodates such spending. Right?

Not sure it equivalent in naira but more than 4million annually goes to rent. Will soon be over as I may soon secure a mortgage home. Can't continue to increase the bank account of landlords in this country. undecided

I live with my man here in southern Germany. He pays 350€ per month (122k) for just a room in a flatshare of 5 other people. Meaning that you must share parlour, toilet, bathroom and kitchen with other tenants. His landlord charges me extra €100 per month for living in the room with him. That's how its done here. Its rare to see a landlord that allows a tenant bring in another person without charging. Plus most people live in flatshares here.
IMHO rent in Nigeria is very cheap!

Because life in Nigeria is terrible. Isn't that why you ran away to germany?

Do you prefer cheap rent, no job, bad road, no electricity, no security, endless list of have nots.

Three bedroom flat but none of the building was painted or tiled @Ede Osun state
72k
While in Gombe (Room and Parlour with toilet and kitchen all tiled even the parlour)
66k
Houses are very cheap and affordable in ede, all you need to do is paint and place rug where necessary. Then you can as well polish the house to your taste.

It is an out sketche of the town but very good environment. Just after LNG Junction by Amasoma (NDU) road. It's a new house that is well finished and has enough parking space.

me thinks your cousin is taking you for a ride. Same thing my brother was doing to me until i went down to nigeria to find out for me self, you need to go there and see for yourself whats happening there. Now i gave my properties to an agency to manage for me no more family things.

Which is worse?

Agency or family?

Have you ever had your house vacant for more than 1yr because u ask for 200k rent, and agent asks for 300k rent, their agency fee aside.
