This is the first time am bringing forth a little of my life travails to a public forum.
Right now am confused and in tears, I feel so helpless that I don't know who to talk to anymore. Starting from training myself in school to looking for an OND job before I proceed for HND, to accommodation issues now. My life have been in shambles since my mother re-maried. I can not say it all here but all I ask is that you all pls put me in your prayers too, cos God knows I have been calling upon him for so long now and it seems he just don't want to answer me. I pray him to also perform miracles in my life as i have heard him do for others. Why me!. I am tired cry

Don't we all

Don't worry young man, e go beta one day one day.

Human beings will always face challenges, and one just has to be resilient, and strong.

When life hands you lemons, make lemonade outta it.

Certain trials and stress just makes you stronger, and gives you experience that money cannot buy. Just take whatever you're facing as one of life's experiences.

If you have accommodation issues, look for someone to squat with, even your mom where your step father may frustrate your life but bear it knowing it's just for a short period.
If the worst gets to the worst, get some menial job also knowing it's for a while.

I am touched by this. Op, it's well with you. I'll pray for you. Your joy shall be full. Testimonies shall abound in your border.

Please bear in mind that God loves you and he will cause everything to work for your good. Dont give up. Keep calling on Him. He's got better things in store for you. Hebrews 11:40.

Also, Thank him for the things you have, in anticipation for the things you look up to him for.

In times like this, I find it hard to pray, or make any request. So what I do, I PUSH (Praise until something happens) I thank God for all I have and in advance. It's quite challenging to do that, especially, when you need something, but that way my spirit gets lifted. And I calmly wait for him to do what only him can do. At times, it's not easy waiting, but trust me, there's always light at the end of the tunnel.

We all have challenges, but know this, Challenges are stepping stones to Success.

I will leave you with these images.

PS: I'm here if you need anyone to talk to.

Don't give up. Just be positive. Make it a rule to always guide your mind back to positive thinking when it starts shaking and losing focus. Take every problem now as a learning tool. Do not make moves or say things that will worsen your situation. Many times we put ourselves deeper into shit when we try to solve our pro lens without thinking about Gods plan. Sometimes delay is a blessing and gives us room to think about our lives and focus on where we want to be.
I wish I could help you money wise but me and you Dey look God face together in that department as of now.
Be strong, don't give up. Try to stay positive and remember that delay is not denial. Its like this, you may need a car today and have nt enough money to buy the type you like. God may be planning to bring you that car through someone that will win a visa lottery in 6 months time and so you only have to be patient for 6 months until God also perfects his works in the life of that person who will win the visa lottery, and in joy sell you the car for the exact money you have instead of leaving it behind to rot in his absence. This is an example but you can relate it to other scenario in life. The delay may be because God is preparing something for you.

Dear Op, I can tell your write-up comes from deep down your heart. I feel very sad knowing someone like myself is going through difficult times. Pls don't give up on God yet, just as VickyRotex wrote, "there's light at the end of the tunnel" I wish I had my own place, I wud have asked you to come stay with me that's if you share same state with me. I'll always remember you in my prayer, but pls, what's your name? I know if mention this moniker in my prayers, God wud ask me who that is...lol. Take it easy ko! God sees, he hears and he's near.

I also wish to use this platform to immensely thank a friend who has been more like a sister to me, she has been the one housing me when ever am on holidays from school, even as she got married she still had the trust and allowed me stay with her with the husband in the house. I know she is reading this cos she is on this forum though I don't know her moniker. She kept it away from her parents until they got to know this week and which they frowned out, that's why am sort of in a tight corner again, thank you so much Lady Pearl (that's what I nicknamed her). Thank you Nairalanders so far am grateful that you all brought out time to give me audience.

Sorry, OP.

I won't stop preaching this, "going to school, getting a degree is not the be-all nowadays" ; learn a skill!!!!

Cloth making, cake and small chops, hair etc for women, plumbing, painting, etc for men. Time spent on fbk, Instagram, turning up etc can be spent acquiring a skill but lai lai, Naija youths are too posh and fly to think and work. They are mostly jobless but would carry expensive phone, waste money on data, wake by 10am to look for job online/scam/beg/waste their time when serious West African immigrants(Togolese, Ivorian) are out with their tools in their backpack as early as 6am going to sites and earning reasonable money daily.

See Ghana, Togo, Benin Rep. Boys making cool money in Lagos, marrying quite early and taking good care of their young families. I recently noticed my security's room was absorbing water(the walls) and we called a young Togo boy to screed the wall. His workmanship fees was 12K pere and he finished in less than 3 hours. While he was working for us, his phone kept ringing; job offers waiting for him. The average 9ja youth would be using phone of 50K, with 2K bank balance believing that he will hammer/God will pick his call one day. How so, I ask

OP, ifyalwys is right, pick up a skill. But don't just go into baking, small chops, makeup and sewing. Those fields are crowded and you may not stand out effectively. Specialise! Go and learn gele tying very well. Every Friday and Saturday, look around for an open field, there's bound to be a wedding or function going on. Beg for a plastic chair and carry a cardboard which says "Pro Gele tye", charge N500 to N1000 depending on your skill, speed and location (don't get greedy if you're not good enough for N1000 take N500 it's still something). You can make upto N30,000 in a day.
