Thanks a bunch man. I have just filled and sent the edividend mandate which i obtained from my u.b.a to the afriprud registrar
Manonamission:

Just so that you don't embark on this journey is the reason I'm responding to your post. It is most likely the registrars don't know what your signature looks like (#signaturespecimen) except you have been filling documents that capture your signature (#transferforms) when you place your mandates (buy/sell authorization) with your broker.
It is either you get a banker's confirmation of signature addressed to the registrar concerned (make this request with your banker). The cost will probably be the transport fare for the journey proposed.

Alternatively you get your broker to process transfer forms on your behalf (the cost implication here is the wait-time).

Thereafter, you process e-dividend and make a request for all outstanding dividends with the registrar.

NOTE: These issues have been exhaustively discussed in previous pages. Kindly do some research of your own by just using a search engine. It is the least expected of anyone that has access to the internet.

Hello Good People,
Are the banks still charging to sign/stamp the e-Dividend form? LAst time I processed with FirstBank, they charged almost 2k for 1 registrar. Does that still apply please?

If yes, kindly notify of other bank's charges that may have lesser charges please?

Cheers

Peterichy,
It seems you got this one wrong again.
On Friday there was a notification from NSE for the planned Disaster recovery test on Saturday. This kind of test could be likened to a fire drill test which tests the reaction when there is real fire. In this case NSE has gone through that test which like any Disaster recovery outcome reveals preparedness or lack of it in real disaster. From the spillover of the system been down this morning only confirms NSE's unpreparedness in the event of disaster rather than manipulation as suggested in your post.
Remember our words define who we are. Write with verifiable facts.

PETERiCHY:

Why will it work

When I was raising alarm on Saturday afternoon that the NSE manipulators went to tamper their gambling machine.

You guys tag me a pessimist some even said it's repricing for upward movement.

Make una no worry by the time they are through with their devious plans Una go know say Khaki no be leather. grin grin grin grin grin

Trust Peterichy to always spin such news to have a negative inclination to them. But I still gbadun the guy sha cos he is the most consistent bear I have seen in recent times.

The problem is when you are a consistent bear or bull, after a while you start to sound like a broken record. We have seen a lot of shenanigans emerge on this forum as a result of this.

I made this statement as early as 7am this morning, Now what is happening

Well aside Stockbrockers when i see those that take stock trading as a full time occupation,I keep SMH for them.

STOCK MARKET is a dangerous arena where you can deploy a little percentage of your monthly income.

If it works out good but if it doesn't then you move on with life and try next time when it's convenient for you.PERIOD!

That has been the nitty gritty of my message.

NSE magic, is like today trading was done on Saturday, they thought that Doha OPEC and NON-OPEC meeting will have a positive outcome, and they set the price of share with 10% percent gain. But unfortunately the revise was the case yesterday. My May buying period is fast approaching, I will get many share at my Junction.

Oando open today @4.40, today price range 4.18 - 4.40, previous price 4.56, it seems to close @4.18, thereby losing 38 kobo.

Received an email that the NSE had some technical issues today and as such had to extend trading hours till 4pm. Maybe that's the reason why Morgan has a problem...not making excuses for them though.
