Some react to wheat and others don't. I Think it's called gluten intolerance. My colleagues baby reacted seriously to cerelac wheat, while. It was my 2nd's favourite.

For mumps, u can get bee hive from alagbos..i dnt know the yoruba name. It looks like stone. All u need to do is to grate a little part if it, mix with water and apply on the affected area... use as frequently as you can and come back to testify...
Mumps is a viral infection and no amount of antibiotics can cure it. It has to run its cause..but to save ur lo from the discomfort, bee hive is it..
Pls who know the yoruba name

Sabi mums. Good evening o. It's been a while...
Please my LO has had recurring rashes for the past two weeks, at first , I thought it was just rashes and I applied agnesia powder daily but it has now degenerated to tiny boils , I've seen about two on her head and her arm.

@mimzy,you can use ori and coconut oil and then apply rising raving baby powder. If it is heat rashes, you should ensure your baby puts on light clothing and ensure the room is well ventilated, if not the rashes will know reoccurring. Hope it helps, others mamas ll add theirs

Have you tried pap, miko with loads of milk, 2litres of water daily method?

Do you eat and rest well? Is baby latching on well?

These may help!

But moringa is sold in supermarkets now and those northerners who sell garlic and ginger in wheelbarrows also hawk them.

Where do you stay? if you have a Hausa community close to you ask them for 'zogale'. Some pharmacies and stores do sell moringa powder and seeds too

Yellowish eyes and skin is a sign of Jaundice.
2 of my babies have had it.

If it is severe PLEASE take Baby immediately to the Hospital. However, If it just started you can try Home remedy

Once I noticed it, I took my babies to morning sunlight for 15-30 minutes daily and it clears off.
One of my Twin just recovered from it last week

Situation should improve BUT if it doesn't quickly take baby to the Hospital. Pray too

I think you should check Medplus and Healthplus because they usually have it. Or go to the Natural Hair care sites (Google African Naturalista, she sells Fenugreek powder and should be able to ship to PH)

Please stop beating or pinching her, she may choke as the food may go down the wrong way. I too have a baby that the more she was forced, her screams got worse. So I stopped forcing her, some kids are snackers: they eat in bits. So keep good constantly in their mouths all through the day.

As for food, babies have taste buds (if you don't like eating certain goods you've never tried, why expect them to?) and they also get bored. Baby E doesn't like blueberries and she discovered this the first day she ever tasted bluberry yorghurt in her life. That's how humans are. So don't expect that baby will look at amala and ogbono soup with glee or even like Cerelac (my kid gets bored of cerelac quickly but will motivated to use her walker to locate me if I'm eating a fruit or bread and eggs) A few pages back, I posted some menu options (including fruits) and lots of people have posted theirs too. Please use the Search function and find them and exhaust all of them first before throwing in the towel.

I've been assured by doctors that multivitamins don't make people hungry, it supplies vitamins they're not getting. So don't expect baby's appetite to miraculously improve after taking one, still do your part.
