Moving forward mamas, please can anyone give tips on how they coped with severe MS? I can't seem to keep any food down, virtually everything I eat or drink makes me throw up (sorry TMI). I tried taking glucose water but same thing happened.
Whoever named it morning sickness should be sued, it's literally all day sickness
I'm already feeling weak because I'm not eating well and have no appetite.

Awww...pele, you'll be fine soon. This was me a few weeks back. What worked for me was I started taking very spicy food, especially pepper and avoided anything sweet. Also identify foods that make you throw up more and avoid them while you should eat the ones your system can stomach a little. You could also try lying down five minutes after eating; it helped me control the urge to vomit

I can't wait for this phase to pass, but I know it is well. I had the strong urge to eat moinmoin over the weekend, I prepared it yesterday but couldn't really eat it. E pain me small sha considering the stress I had to go through to get the ingredients and make it (I'm not resident in Nigeria) I'll try the spicy foods this evening

Nothing worked for my severe morning sickness. Everything recommended didn't work. I was admitted twice in the hospital until i was given B6 by my doc. The next day, morning sickness vanished like magic. It was my miracle cure. You can ask your doc about it

Same happened with my sis. Anyways, just felt I should put that tip as it might help her case.

Sacred Heart List, How ever, You wont need the mucus extractor and cord clamp cos they wont use it. I had my first baby there and also using them presently.

Present able class captain. The tiredness no be only you oh, na so so peep i just dey come peep for here. To type sef na war. Slow and steady sha wins the race. Me never clear desk oh, am hoping to clear desk on 9th May(if LO no com before then), i want to have enogh time for my precious before i go back to wrk.


@adorablewifey, no fear e-sis God's gift is perfect and adds no sorrow. I also asked God for a birthday gift i would b]never forget and last year, a day to my birthday, i found out i was preggy and since then i have held unto his promise in Isaiah 27v3 and it has worked for me.

@Bigpoppasays, Mamas here have responded to you correctly but let me just add one thing from my experience since she is already 3 months gone, after taking all the drugs prescribed, make sure she rests well and do not visit the doctor for another 3weeks or so. After that she can visit a reputable hospital and register for what they call ANC, if at that time the baby is still there then that baby is destined to be born at a time like this.

@Sugah, May the good lord restore your sis to her glory. May she find reasons to smile again. thank God for her family who stood by her all thru.

Good morning all,let us remind ourselves that everyone here has there problems,because one is not in that shoe now doesn't make it impossible,cherrymum am sure she didn't mean it that way,no vex.
Nobody can insult anybody cos of the story they shared on here,because Noone knows tommorrow,have also heard of 25years divorce(not our portion) and have heard of people without womb going on to have kids.

Dis was me with my first nothing worked except drinking very cold funky water(funkified with ribena or 7up) and eating meat pie. As Godmother said lie down for five minutes or so after eating, infact don't move after eating. Spicy foods triggers heartburn for me.
Adorawifey, nothing will happen to ur baby in Jesus name. Rest, rest, rest.
