This is really misleading, u can't get the police report at just any police station. If u are in Lagos go to Alagbon at obalende. Most question being asked have been answered if only people will take out time to read through previous threads.

i would like to ask and kindly seek advice from people on this forum as regard to the kind of dilemma or mixed thought i found myself..... i got an admission to study bachelor of applied petroleum engineering in sait, canada.... but i would like to have an insight about the prospect of pursuing this program if it really worth the investment.... i would appreciate the input of anyone who had done this program in sait before or present student studying the program at sait who can enlighten me on the following questions
1.... Due to the dwindling oil price, how bad has it affected alberta oil industry with respect to the ease of getting a job
2.... how easy it is to get an internship in the oil industry in alberta for the 2nd year of this program and how much is the student paid
3.....what is the probability of getting a job easily after the completion of this program, though the school stated it has high industry demand and i don't want to believe this is just a marketing strategy.

The summer resumption date should be clearly stated on your acceptance letter. Have you been called for medicals yet? You could defer to fall session if you dont meet up for spring. Cost of living is in the average, as Kingston is relatively a small city. When you get your TRV, accommodation shouldn't be much of a problem.

Don't get worried about things beyond your control, it only makes you end up imagining negative outcomes. Pray about it every morning, and let the Divine power take control of the rest.

Please who has processed Form A this month for a school in canada. I started with first Bank in the last week of march and also Diamond Bank. But my Form A has still not been processed. Please kindly refer me to a First Bank or Diamond Bank branch that knows how to sort a Form A. Especially because the college I applied to has demanded complete tution before I can submit my TRV for fall 2016.

my letter of employment & promotion, company's ID card, statement of account, my 4months' payslip, letter of funding and scholarship from U of M, Letter from the Dean of Faculty of Grad studies (Law) "pleading' that CIC should borrow themselves brain cos they denied me previously for 'purpose of visit' amongst other flimsy reasons

LETTER OF EXPLANATION
SOP
Breakdown of budget for the entire period
CV
Family pictures to show home ties
consent letter from husby
data page of husby and daughter showing travel history ( previously denied for not having one)


LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE
Admission letter from Uof M

Thanks for ur response, i didn't really bug him at all because he asked me to wait and will give me his decision April when i emailed him in October last year.
Since we are already in mid April, i just emailed him to have heads-up and was still told to wait again.

Thanks for ur advice, i will wait till he decides, its just that i don't want to wait in vain when i should be strategizing if i should be applyin to another school or contacting another supervisor.

The way you sound seems to me like you're already bugging him with mails. Avoid that please to avoid marring your chances of getting his approval to work with him. Don't make yourself appear to be desperate before him. Portray yourself as having something special to bring to his table. Don't let emotion play a role here. This is business, not personal. Always have in mind that these guys want the best return on their investments.

And lastly, be patient... Nothing good comes easy.

Thanks for your response, i actually thought about it but didn't want to shoot myself in the foot since am doing a research based course which qualifies for funding plus have 87% average from my GPA which is over 75% required to get funding offer from the Department even if he doesn't offer me his.

You could have told him you don't need funding. Sometimes availability of funding makes them prefer students who don't require funding. When you enter, by your second year it could change if you impress him enough.

Well, one thing I know is that I got a police character report from a police station in Agege last year. They even have an officer in charge of that and I saw copies of reports of other people_most of them were for visa processing. The only one I'm sure of that requires Alagbon in Ikoyi is finger print. I got that as well for a different job late last year.
