Seeing someone sitting inside airline embarking on a trip is not an issue here: the issue is who is responsible for the paid air-line ticket cos banning FG officials from taking first class airline is not applicable when such officer is embarking on a journey financed with his personal money.

The child in question is not a government officer/official, PDP could have done an empirical findings to put doubters in shame in that a relative can pay for it: an organization can pay for it: a contemporary can pay for it: it can be a birthday oriented gift etc

Oh yes it is.. but the mother thought it was right to fly her commercial instead and save Nigeria some money. When you become president, fly your daughter to Congo with the Presidential jet, its your privilege, we wont complain.

They don't have to respond to them. PDP should go all out to show evidence of receipt of payment before posting such as we all know that sometimes, airlines upgrade customers which could be the case with this.

Politicians (Ministers and heads of Service/parastatals) get an allocation to their offices.. His sanction simply means he does not want to see 'First Class Air-Tickets' as 'Overhead costs' in the balance books of any Ministry or Parastatal.

If the said Minister or Head of Service is traveling on Personal business, he can hire a private jet for all the President cares.

The order from the presidency refers only to Official Travels where such tickets are back charged to the Government under overhead costs.

Diezani Allison has a rich husband, rich before he married Diezani who was a top executive in Shell before becoming a minister, his child flew a chattered jet which both husband and wife earning could afford, yet 'it was a sin and show of opulence' now Buhari's daughter, (a minor for that matter, still singled and in school abroad while Ese Oruru was abducted) the daughter of a 'servant president and a former poor man' in times of needs in the country he leads flies a first class to London (don't ask those who bashed Senator Murray Bruce) and its now normal because she is a daughter of a man from a 'superior tribe'. Nice.
