UNEME, ESAN, BENIN, OKADA AND UTSEN ARE ALL SAME JAREE
Deadlytruth:

Anyone could write any article and claim authenticity. The Federal forces which killed Igbo civilians are not same as the natives of Benin. We have our own historians too.
Edos might call those places Ovi' Igbo because some of them insist on Igbo identity. We won't define them as Edos if they themselves choose to define themselves as Igbos. It is that simple. We don't tell others who they are the way you Igbos do. What you call yourself is what we call you.
The itshekiri's sound yoruboid, however we don't call them Ovi' Yoruba as long as they themselves keep rejecting Yoruba identity. I have told you that my tribe is called Uneme, yet you are still demanding to know my tribe? What is that supposed to mean?

Well, have you now accepted that I am not a Yoruba man pretending to be from the Midwest?
Secondly, have you now by the knowledge your research availed you realized that non-Yorubas also kick against Igbos domineering attitude?
Actually Uneme is an Edoid tribe but has evolved and diverged miles away from Bini culture and Language over the centuries.
That article you saw online is not accurate as it is not based on any academic institution sponsored research work. The writer is likely to have been born and brought up in the diaspora. Uneme Language is still alive and actively spoken. An Uneme dictionary has been published and reviewed twice. If you need better sites that provide you more details I might oblige you.

Deadlytruth:

When every other tribe said they wanted to go earlier the Igbos too held them back with one Nigeria. Please recall that when the North asked the South to go and form their own country and leave the North alone, while Yorubas too were gasping for Oodua Republic it was an Igbo called Zik that decided to have the South wait till the North became ready for independence. Also when Ijaws declared their Niger Delta Republic it was two Igbos (Ojukwu and Ironsi) that forcefully held them back into Zik's fraudulent one Nigeria. So Igbos are morally wrong to complain now that other tribes are doing to them exactly what they too had already done to those other tribes in the past. You reap whatever you sow.

Nobody forced them to stay in Nigeria- did Azikiwe hold a gun to their head or were they given a choice as to whether they should stay or not? That's all the Biafran agitators want- a choice to determine their own destiny.

All SE governor disassociate themselves from IPOB, going by your stupid logic, each SE state must not be Igboland.
You just keep stupidly giving yourself away without even trying. Such a shane.

Incase you foolish ass isn't aware, outside of onitsha and abia, the third largest IPOB with highest number of members is in Asaba. My cousin is actually one of the leaders. Outside of Abia and Onitsha, the other area who held the highest protest is Anioma land tongue tongue

Go and learn about the areas of place you pitifully wish you are from.

Oh it must hurt you to get a direct quote from an Asaba about that your miserable southwaaste people you are from and ashamed to claim. Yoloba coward. Come take my Asaba heritage from me

Thank you so much for educating all these people here. If it weren't for people like you then we'd have some ignorant Nigerians believing all the lies they spout. Good job!

Are you serious? This fool claimed a tribe in Edo. I could have sworn earlier he was pretending to be from Delta state. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Infact, through out the time this fool listed SS tribes, as he speaks for whole SS and midwest, in all his past Argument, this Nigga have NEVER included UNEME on it. This is actually the first thread he posted that tribe and I screenshot each time he spoke on behalf of SS in the past.

Isn't that hilarious. It's equivalent to an "Anioma man" naming SS groups as he speaks for SS and never mention Anioma. grin grin grin

That guy is extremely pathetically pitiful yoloba clown. At least you guys broke him down to picking one.

Because the secession of Igbos from Nigeria will set into motion cascade of events that will see the ethnic Nationalities in the SS leave to form their own countries or join Biafra.

For the Yorubas, this is their greatest fear, as the North already have their fangs deep down the Yoruba flesh, there will be no escape for the Yorubas, they will forever be trapped in a master- Slave Islamic republic of Odua-Arewa. The Jihadists will simply finish off what they started in Kwara some decades ago, but was halted by the Caucasians.

For the North, it will mean less petrodollars and less hosts. But a chance to fully become a sharia Islamic country.

In summary, the secession of Igbos from Nigeria will unbalance Nigeria's socio political and religious equation.
where is the fang. they have not plundered us the way they have raped you. in fact fear of the Yoruba is the beginning of wisdom

There has always been an exodus of your people away from igboland if there was something there for them it would not be so.

What happened to china in the last 15 years was that a lot of their citizens came back home and even the ones I know kept saying they had more disposable income than when they were in Europe or the US and Canada hence no need to be second class citizen in another mans land.

Unfortunately a lot of you lazy cowards hoping for a free SS oil lunch that keep screaming biafra are just deceiving yourself about the facts on the ground in your region and that is why the smart, confident, go getter amongst you igbo keep saying I no be part of them.

You do not get the point. Until we Nigerians start to see an exodus of igbo back to igbo land no one would take your clamour for statehood seriously.

You keep drinking and eating from your master's table and then claim you are your own man. Mba mba most of the south easter states are virtually bankrupt despite all the men done good in your community. Charity they say begins at home.

True to form you greedy lot always thinking you can have your cake and eat it.

With all the headache you have been giving your host all over the place you lot better have your bags packed and ready to go.

If you have your country the other country gets to decide if your presence is conducive to their public good.

One wonders what their decision would be.

The lazy man is always looking outside of himself to blame someone else for his predicament and lack of progress.

Whether you are in Nigeria , Biafra. Onitsha, Nnewi. Arondisuogu, Aba, Enugu, etc. It is still same ol same ol poo talk.

It has very little to do with your location but your mindset and how prepared you are to work hard and stop the bs.

@One kobo, it is on record that you cannibals were the first to actually abandon your own region to flood other regions - North, West and the future Midwest and were attempting to usurp their rights to self governance. Shameless beasts. After Securing their own region for themselves they went out seeking to rule others under the one Nigeria subterfuge. They always think they are smarter than everyone else. Why were you not just contented staying in your own home? A people who never start their "charity" from their own home! When they kicked out of the Western Region they started complaining of being marginalized by Yorubas as if they had any stake there in the first instance? They are never at home with any system which recommends order and limited cross interference. They always prefer everyone disorderly crammed together thinking the unhealthy competition that results will favour them. How a people who paraded the most accomplished intellectuals back then could be advocating unitary system for a multi-ethnic democracy beats one silly. And when they could not get unitary system through a democratic decision process, they used their brothers in the military to force it on us through the backdoor. Yet the same people are the very ones demanding a return to true federalism currently while blaming everyone else for the ills of unitary system imposed by them. What a set of hypocrites!
The biggest mistake Northerners made in Nigeria's history is that they refused to invest in mass media business with which they could have countered and corrected the impression that they invented one Nigeria and abolished resource control as being cast on them by the Southern press. And that is the Deadlytruth.
Even your abuses have become uninteresting repetitions. You don't know more than slowpoke, despicable, and other overused terms of yours. You speak as if you are programmed. Why not even try to use new abusive words other than slowpoke, despicable, blah blah blah..........?
You are actually a programmed ignoramus which needs to be reset and reprogrammed as your programmed state is becoming obvious through your shameless repetitiveness with those terms. Please try other abusive words if you are not deranged. Second challenge.
