Hi Iphie, are you still using Dr Valisia Andrews? Did you book her directly or through Meridien ob/gyn? How was your first appointment with her? (Weird, but I'm still scouting for an ob/gyn) Iphie26: |

Abol4luv: Usually when you fill out a 'contact us' form, they reply you using their email address. Are you having a planned CS and are you resident in Baltimore or close to it? Cos Baltimore( which is one of the closet points to delaware) to Wilmington, DE is 1hr15mins. Don't think its advisable to be that far away from your hospital during labor |

Delta and United Air are still in operation, but are only lifting pax with existing tickets, but are not selling tickets to new pax I won't blame them. forex is not favouring foreign airlines; the airline ROE is 200ngn/1$. Imagine selling a ticket @ 200ngn/1$, and they converting their ngn to usd @ 240ngn/1$, That is a huge loss on their on part. Iberia is not operating anymore, you have to pay dollars to buy PTA tickets. Very soon, European airlines will stop operation This change is a bad change I swear. 2 Likes |

Ajujuju2: I usually approach Oyingbo market with the craftiness of a tortoise. Step 1. Wear boubou and tie scarf well well. Hide your weave. Natural hair. Brazillian. Crochet. Etc...If your brow is on fleek or your make up is on point, those women are adding money to your crayfish o. Wear jewelry but very simple. Leave your Marc Jacobs watch at home. Step 2. Go right inside. Far far inside. No buying on the pavement or in a shop on the street o. Those sellers are at the tail end of the supply chain o. Step 3. Ask for price of a bag. After pricing well ( check more than one seller) decide on half or quarter bag depending on your pocket. Never fails me.. whether beans or garri or crayfish. Good luck! 14 Likes |

In the spirit of giving back. I sit to write my own epistle... here goes. A week to my departure date i started experiencing smth called a round ligament pain. T cn b really xcrutiating but is considered normal in pregnancy. Docs say ts the uterus expanding the liganents in d stomach and thy prescribe tylenol or paracetamol as we know it. At 5pm i landed the airport with two bags for checking. Alone (hubby stick in island trffc coning frm work to airport) and unsure hw i would carry my bags, i prayed for favour. Finally one man sent by God helpd me wt d bags: One was full of foodstuff for family (Frm egusi to stockfish to uziza seeds to ogbono to smoked dry fish to bitterleaf, cassava flakes, dawadawa and even knoor cubes. Dint bother with ogi and indomie bcz dr r pretty much gud noodles here) clearly wrapped and labeled and weighing 27kg. The other bag had about 8 dresses and hair peiece attachment bought as gifts for family members weighing abt 17kg too. Naija Immigration started to claim i needed to go to quarantine to check d fooditems and ofcos i knew that what they were really saying is madam giv us money. But i wasnt ready to waste time. I told d guy to forget quarantine and not stress an ugly preggy like me and we all shared a laff. He then said i shld find dem smth and i said i would b back aftr i check in bcz i was alone with all dat load. In d end, i did not giv dem a dime and at 6pm on Wed April 20th i checked in on Air france Lagos to paris to America. FAAN delyed my boarding bcz i had liquid in my bag (sure spray 2 dozens) bt it ws sorted in less dan 15mns. Fastforward to paris and my liganent pain had resurfaced thank God for wheel chair bcz twz adistance frm plane to check-in. Had a 4 hr layover and damnnn it was cold! Watch out for part2. D juicy part. Lol 2 Likes |

Boarded to America, landed and was wheeled to cbp. Officer: hello madam what brings you here Me: vacation and to have my baby Him: y have ur baby in america Me: had complications wt the first and just dont wna take risks Him: hw mch dd d first cost? Me: abt $7k do u want to see my receipts Him: no ma'm, how mch do you have now? Me: abt $8k altho i hv prepaid some bills, do u wana see receipts? Him: smiles! No ma'am. (Stamp, click, return) D lady wheeling me now teases and says: can u pay my bills too and we all laff. Him: Heres your passport enjoy your stay and have a safe delivery. (No secondary inspection... Note this is the so-called terror Houston) Now to agric where the jist gets interesting.... Met this Akata (African American) Donald Trump wanna be and he was jst bitter seeing that i was pregnant and bein wheeled by one of them. Starts by saying how hes sooo sure i couldnt wait to get here to have the baby. On and on and still bitter he was just mumbling and i kept smiling at him...(im sure d smile made t worse sef) D bad belle officer was saying how they should amend the 14th amendment to stop us having babies here.that the law was created for slaves to get citizenship in d slave era and that once the law changes they will have turned me back from the plane. And how we even have sites to encourage birth tourism. He sounded bitter. Funny enough he's black. So I wonder what right he thought he has being an immigrant decent himself!!! In d end he cldnt stop me and out i went through the sliding glass doors. Two important things Prayer is key Honesty pays Ps: had to change moniker. Had issues with d frst. 13 Likes |
