To add to it airtel charges 1.5/mb from 6a.m to 10p.m and 1.0/mb from 10p.m to. 4A.m

This was their new plan..and they stated 1500 for 3gb and it works both on android and blackberry..Why cant they differentiate and say one would only get 1.5gb on android phones..I think its not fair at all

1.5gb @ #1500 is still cheaper than MTN's

don't say wat you don't know.. 1mb is 1mb anywhere.. true, android consumes more data but dt is no explanation for d double billing.. Airtel just charges extra data wen using d bb bundle on android...

I have since removed My Airtel SIM.at least Etisalat 3gb for 1k is better for me. I use surfeasy to power all apps

airtel has special calculator noni. even with the data manager on the J8, i still cant use airtel. Glo is just better and cheaper.

Blackberry may compress data more than an Android, but 3Gb should be 3Gb anywhere either Android or BB, but the BB plan is programmed by Airtel to zap x2 more on an Android device.

O.P, the #2,500 plan is the way to go, very accurate.

Yes. If for example you use 5mb, you will be charged 7.5mb(1.5*5mb) whereas during off peak, you will be charged 5mb supposing you consume same data( 1.0* 5mb)

Blackberry data is compressed before a requested Web page displays on their screen. Unlike Android, required pages come raw without compression, therefore data consumption is higher in Android
