Dear Senator Dino Melaye,

While I admire your confessional statement of your friendship with the embattled Senate President, Bukola Saraki, i hope you know there is a very big difference between saying it and doing it?

So I am asking: how strong is your friendship? How far are you willing to go with the Senate President?

For instance, what will you do if the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, is found guilty and convicted to jail? Will you quit the senate and go to prison with him?

What will you do if the Senate President is found guilty, stripped of his senatorship and isn't able to complete the mandatory four years? Will you quit the senate in solidarity with the Senate President?

I tell you whatever answers you provide will determine the true strength of your friendship with the Senate president not your confessional statement.

Not declaring one's asset is not a criminal offense, but falsely declaring one is an offense but will not see anyone going to prison except you can pinpoint who he has stolen from. At the moment, there was no Petition from anyone to the EFCC against Bukola Saraki, it is just the institution of state, EFCC, taking him there when no one actually petitioned.

I do not care about Saraki cos I am not APC member, I actually love the stupidity playing out within the ruling useless party, but I must admit that what is going on with Saraki is just a misplaced priority by a government that lacks focus. APC lacks knowledge of what to do.
