zollar4life: The MSN would have been perfect for you based on your profile as an experienced nurse/nurse educator. MSN is great here and you'll decent amount of time to work while in the studies. Do you have time to put through the msn before you want to go to the embassy? PM wont work for me nowadays as I have very little time on nairaland/my nairaland email...... I'm sorry about this. Let's talk here for a timely response. |

@Justwise I just stumbled on your nairaland post 2 days ago while i was searching for fully funded scholarships for masters degree in U.S. As a beneficiary of one, please i'd like to know your story, the process and procedure(s) you followed for you to be able to secure such scholarship as a Nigerian. . I'm currently in 300 level and i am studying Statistics. I'd like to have my masters degree in the same discipline as well (STATISTICS) or Statistics and Economics (both courses combined). More so, I really need everyone of you reading this who has any valuable information to advise me on the right step to take as it will go a long way in helping me to make a good choice/decision and research prior to the time i'll be ready for my masters. I'm earnestly waiting for y'all response. Thank you. |

justwise:I'm sorry i lost the link to the said thread Sir. I stumbled on the thread via google. I just had to memorise your moniker and search for you here last night. That was how i found you. The thread was not created by you, but u did left a comment there about scholarship. The year the thread was created was 2013/14 that's the little i could remember Sir. |

iamleye: Disclaimer : I might annoy you but pardon me I mean well. That been said your profile looks fishy and 'agent packaged' to me... You used to work for an NGO and you quit meaning you are currently unemployed (Red flag 1) You applied for B1 (which makes the whole situation looks like Visa shopping) You applied to a one month course in international development and social change ( most short term certificate courses don't qualify for F-1 but not all schools knows this) Conclusion: The whole thing looks like an attempt to get into the United States without passing through the rigor of graduate application ( GRE, TOEFL, evaluation etc) and it is shoddy. My take; apply to a graduate program in this field, demonstrate your experience and get into a good school. Holla your agent for me but if it stinks like a fish, looks like a fish, tastes like a fish then it is a FISH NB Read the disclaimer again I can be wrong and I lay no claim to omnipotence in this affair. If I'm wrong my apologies to Leye |

Good Evening Everyone, Please, I am at the verge of completing the visa application form for my wife. Do I need any information from the I-20 to complete the DS-160 form? I-20 is in transit and I am trying to be proactive and schedule an appointment. For those that have scheduled their appointment, what is the earliest available appointment at the moment for the Abuja location? Thank you. |
