the method that worked for me when I did organic synthesis and drug chemistry...

I practiced each synthesis repeatedly until I could do it without checking my note..truth is, it was more of cramming..I could use a whole book to practice it step by step.

I dont enjoy cramming, I had problem with that aspect of chemistry..


unlike inorganic chemistry dat u can still relate with ur environment and stuffs around...

organic chemistry is more of imaginations cos we see most of the compounds only in our textbooks..plus, we did little practical... u go fail if u no cram.lol.

Hmmm, thats the way I have been doing it too. Cramming, but it is not effective for this final exam. We have to take the American Chemistry Societal Exam. Its gonna be intense, and I suck at O-Chem 1. You dont have a way to remember which reagent with what reaction? As in with Potassium Permanganate (KMnO4) was used to take anything to a carboxylic acid? I only have four days to prepare. Im so behind.

Chei, 8 years back. How old are you, or rather, whats your age? I used to hate organic, but I have found a new love for him. Just the exam part that I hate. One of the reasons I switched to Pharmacy from Medicine. So what is it that you do now?
